That's actually not a weird thing for me ti do TODAY though, seeing as since it was such a slow day I figured I'd get way more accomplished. When's the next chance a slow day like this one would come anyways?
And I'm sure the idea of it isn't terrible, that's usually never the word for RP ideas, but if you need someone to run it by, I'm the man for the job... so to speak...
For the workload of an RP, co-creators aren't such a bad thing to have. You can usually dump wiff ant excess work on the less experienced of the two, within reason, of course. I'm sure no one wants to be that RPer who has to sit back and observe two GM's arguing over who does the most and of what...
... Well actually, that sounded better than I thought it would. :]
But as for that whole Beartic>Cryogonal debate, I'll just edit it when I get the chance ... probably with the next hour... and VM you when I'm finished?
Well I'm all for it's placement so I say go for it.
As for the supply-and-demand of an Adventure RPG, I'd have to say I agree. I've actually been dying to be a part of one, but I get torn apart by the other RPers who have that same bloodlust and post a sign-up before I do.
A parody adventure sounds more inviting though, and with the right people it's sure not to disappoint.
But it's like you said, every RP needs an even better plot. Guess it's all about you have as your co-creator.
EDIT: Also, before I completely forget. I was talking to Ozzy about it and he's sort of persuaded me into believing that Cryogonal isn't the best Pokemon for me to have in NY team, mostly due to my distaste in it, really. I didn't want to bother with it, but if it's just a matter of me editing one or two portions of my sign-up, I'll be sure to do it now before the actual RP kicks up...
Well I have two ideas. One is for an adventure, and the other is for an adventure parody (I'd have to ask about that one.). My understanding is that adventures are in high demand though, so I might want to crank one out.
There's a storm on my half of the planet too. We really need rain though. xP
Well I guess I could make an announcement about it, but I have to admit my OOC thread is just a mess. I have trouble finding individual things in it. But yeah, my placement of the training area was supposed to at least have basis for fact. xD
An adventure RP is a good idea. I'd be available for a sign-up if you're asking, and I'm sure there's lots of "reasons of being" that you could find to come up with a pretty convincing plot around it.
And I know what you mean about the slow day. Minutes seems to be hours for some reason, but that also means that this storm thay just neared my side of the planet will probably be here for a while too ... -.-... *sigh*
As far as the placement of the Arena goes, I'm actually very onboard with it being in the basement. Makes it seem ... I don't know ... more LEGIT, I suppose? And I'm pretty sure it'd attract attention from the RPers, and your NPC's alike.
You know I said I'd let you have the arena. I was going to put it in the basement of the stadium. Just haven't gotten around to editing yet. xD
Oh I know. Today has been horribly slow for some reason. I've gotten a whole bunch of VMs, but not a lot of RPing has been done. Maybe I'll make an adventure RP or something, and it'll only have a few people, and move along quite quickly. That suit your fancy? Of course it would be a while before I developed a good plot, but nevertheless, it's good to know if anyone would be interested.
Also I have another person who I'm sure will want to post whenever he gets on, though I can never predict when that'll be. He has odd hours.
Maybe not antsy, just thought the others would've posted by now, so I'm used to just falling in and posting when I like, seeing as there's usually two or three posts ahead of me anyways. But of course me and ozzy'll have to wait it out for the upcoming days, and the arena idea'll have to come after a little conversation over our joint post.
Yea I see. I'd completely forgotten about the vendors for a split second too,
But Izzy brought up a pretty interesting idea, and by the email notification I just got, it'd seem they're running it by you now. I for one second the idea, however, should it actually be considered ...
Well right now I really just need everyone to post. I can't do a single thing plot-wise until all of you are on the island. Sign ups took a long time too, so I'm not sure how many people have been regularly checking back. It could be a while.
The island is actually supposed to be small, and while I would give you all some mindless entertainment in that respect, a village really would conflict with the plot. There are already audience members there, and once the vendors are all set up it'll be like a little makeshift community anyways. And if what I have planned turns out right the plot will be a pretty big deal.
What you're really supposed to do is interact with each other, but your partner says he wants someone else to post before he does. And remember, I'm the GM, not a player character.
And trust me, you'll have a lot to do once battles start, anyways.
So I was stalking your VMs caught a glimpse of one of your VMs (makes it all better, I tell you) and I just wanted to say that if you two want to get acquainted right now thats all good, but if you two get bored of chatting I can play an NPC (just not a vendor) for you.
Er...well you could annoy a vendor if you wanted to get chewed out, but still. Just saying.
