August 20th, 2012 02:43 PMPkMnTrainer YellowIt's cool. Everyone has to start somewhere. But yeah... no. Non-pokespirit wielders are generally incapable of defending themselves against wielders. Superpowers vs non-superpowers, the superpowers will almost always win regardless of skill or intelligence.
Regardless, alright. :P
August 20th, 2012 09:29 AMHovdeOk thanks, i will try to work on that.
funny thing was, i was just about to ask you how i was doing on my posts.
i generally dont like typing or writing, so i dont have much experience with the proper format for that, sorry. i will fix that on my next post.
Sorry about putting all the grenades in there, i thought they should have something to defend themselves with.
i mainly had the knife part in there as an excuse to make it so Ryan had to walk instead of fly for a bit, but i will keep that in mind, thanks :)
August 19th, 2012 08:25 PMPkMnTrainer YellowHey, Hovde? I couldn't help but be reading over your post on Fallout and notice some... well, things we can work on.
First of all, keep in mind you're wielding superpowers! Do you think a scalpel or a grenade for that matter are going to seriously hurt Superman for instance?
Generally speaking, any blade will be hard pressed to hurt a pokespirit wielder unless wielded by another pokespirit wielder. (A blade is only as powerful as the strength put into it.) However, blades will also break fairly easily if used on something as durable as a wielder either way.
A grenade will only do very mild damage to a pokespirit wielder, and grenades are pretty rare considering it's the post-apocalypse, so nobody is going to have all that many of them. Maybe a few, but that's it. You'd need at least a dozen to seriously injure a pokespirit wielder, presuming none are dodjed, shielded against, or the pokespirit wielder is not particularly bulky or capable of powering up their defenses.
Lastly, have you noticed your posts are just one big block of text? Content is good, but your posts would look much prettier if you split the text up into multiple blocks.
Me, I personally put text in it's own mini block everytime someone talks. It makes posts very easy to read, like so.
Stuff stuff stuff
stuff stuff stuff
stuff stuff stuff

August 18th, 2012 11:40 AMHovdeyah sorry about that... and i just found out i might be going somewhere tommorrow so i might not be on. not 100% sure though
August 18th, 2012 11:11 AMPkMnTrainer Yellow...Heh.
Well, you scan start now, considering I just approved you.
Also, thanks. I'd post more guides if I had the time to finish them.
August 18th, 2012 11:04 AMHovdebtw, when can i start on the fallout RP? (and Espoengirl decided she doesnt have time for an RP, so i will probably just have my character assume she drowned)
August 18th, 2012 07:38 AMHovdeok thanks. your RP etiquette article was useful.
August 17th, 2012 01:23 PMPkMnTrainer YellowIt's rather simple. Basically you write out what your character does or says just like any other post, but you leave space for the other person's character to react to what your character does. You should never control another person's character without their permission.
So you don't want to type too much in a single post, lest you accidentally control the other RPers character.
August 17th, 2012 11:33 AMHovdeim wondering, how exactly does tthe RPing work if you want to interact with another player?
August 17th, 2012 10:29 AMPkMnTrainer YellowNo problem.
