December 30th, 2012 07:43 PMLilizukiDis gear be da shissnizz, ya dig, home-brah-ton?
Unfortunately, my crazy characters have a tendency to be reckless and violent, which sometimes makes the situation worse. A lot more fun, though!
I guess you could say the only winning move is to not... *sunglasses* pay.
December 30th, 2012 06:37 PMClaire*Well, thank you! .gif is where it's at yo! *makes horrible imitation of gang hands, fails miserably*
What fun are stable characters?! Give me crazy or give me death.
True... So my poorness is somebody's way of telling me not to waste money? What a cruel game...
December 30th, 2012 06:29 PMLilizukiD: Well, it looks good! You can't go wrong with .gif, am I right?
It's easier for characters that are a bit more...mentally stable, though. I'll probably be stealing from the Joker for this one.
Well, it's a good thing we're poor, else we'd be wasting money on books we couldn't read. :v
December 30th, 2012 06:03 PMClaire*I have disarmed you! No defense allowed! This old thing? It's just something I've thrown on. :3
Haha, that's a good idea. It also sounds like something my character would say. Almost.
I know what you mean. I never have enough time to do all the reading I want. That list just keeps getting longer...
December 30th, 2012 12:29 PMLilizukiIn my defense, I didn't have any fodder for witty remarks. d: Your avatar looks nice today. Did you do something with it? :v
I find it helpful to search for quotes that fit what the character would say, though I don't include them in my sheet. "Now this is what I'm talking about! Ooh, come to Oghren, ye long-limbed goddesses. The pride of Orzammar is in the house!" ;P
My list of popular books to read is far too long. And includes everything Terry Pratchett has ever written.
December 30th, 2012 01:51 AMClaire*Oh, definitely! Woot! Sci-fi!!!!
This has degraded into an exchange of smiley faces.
We shall see. I can't make any promises as to the quality of it yet.
I should probably read that too... I hear its pretty great.
December 29th, 2012 11:06 PMLilizukiMaybe in a sci-fi setting next time? d:
I've honestly never heard of calling half-races halflings, hah, thus my confusion. I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something good before time runs out. :3
I hadn't until about two years ago, so you'll get no animosity from me. d: I've also yet to read A Song of Fire and Ice, unfortunately.
December 29th, 2012 06:21 PMClaire*Yeah, I want to reroll...
Well, that is another use of the word Halfling... I'll have to see where my Dwarf takes me. I haven't had as much time to write him as I'd like.
Don't hurt me, but... *never read or seen a single thing from Harry Potter.*
December 29th, 2012 02:30 PMLilizukiBeing poor sucks. I regret choosing this background at character creation. :v
Huh. I...don't think those are what halflings are. d: Halflings are short humans that were "inspired" from Tolkien's Hobbits, except they don't have hairy feet. Maybe you can make your Dwarf be a little bit of a failed Han Solo? Trying to be charming and witty and just...failing. d:
Phew. I had enough trouble escaping from those Priests in a Ferrari back in Jamaica... I don't normally get obsessed with fandoms, except in a select few cases where I fangirl over one character for no raisin. Like Bellatrix LeStrange, from Harry Potter. :3
December 29th, 2012 12:54 PMClaire*Yes. I don't enjoy being poor, but it is the way of things. :s
Ah halflings. The best of both worlds. With some one who is half and half, you can really do whatever you want with the backstory. I guess that's a benefit. And yes, Han Solo is glorious and so would have been my Elf... xD
*puts away torch* Since you asked nicely... Okay, I think they are just okay books. I never got obsessed like other people.
