Haha, I don't think I've seen anyone get banned around these parts. The sheriffs in town must do a rooten tootin good job. Then again, I don't really go anywhere outside the RP corner. Maybe I'm just not exposed to the real insanity that is Pokecommunity.
You've never watched Star Trek? Like, ever?! Can't fault you for that, I'm more scifi than fantasy actually. Some people still can't believe I've never read/seen Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter.

Haha. I bluster a lot, but I'm wary of doing it around these parts for fear of the ban-gods.
I've never actually watched Star Trek. *hides in shame* I'm more of a fantasy-setting kinda gal.

Nothing like riled up nerds, I know; I'm one of them.
Nothing like coming home and doing something nerdy to chill. Now, where did I put my Romulan Ale? /le sigh

Don't let the other geeks hear you say that; you'll scare them. I like only having geeky stuff on the internet, though; sometimes it can get way too tiring and you just want to cool your brain a bit. Which is when you break out the alcohol. :v

Haha, been there. I was kind of always a nerd, but my friends that I made never got into a lot of the stuff I came to like; or they quickly stopped caring. Of course, it helps that I have interests beyond the typical nerdy things I'm into. It is what it is.

...I think you might be me from another universe. In my case, it's because I only got into geeky things a few years ago, and by then my current friends were already made.

"Most" people here are great about respecting the wishes of other players. Some newbies like to take, certain..uhm liberties... But, they soon get corrected.
Ha, I'm the sole geek too. Some might even call me a "closet geek". Nobody in my outside world actually knows that I RP or do other very nerdy things.
Get used to you? Nah, not going to happen. JK, you'll fit in fine.

The change is interesting, that's for certain. As long as people respect the wishes of other players, I think I'll adjust well.
Heheh, well I've never played at an actual tabletop because I'm the sole geek in my circle. " But I'd be willing to introduce a few people here to one of the simpler rules system, once people get used to me.

Haha, passing out would not be good. I'm on the verge of doing that myself
I've never heard of it, but I'm not surprised that our lack of rules here could be jarring. It's more like free form writing really, with mixed authors. I've never actually played a real "tabletop" game. Probably one of those things I should do eventually...

I'll check them out when I'm not about to pass out.
Most of the time on Giant in the Playground, which is why the lack of rules here is quite jarring for me. If you haven't heard of it, most of the games on there use the rules of Tabletop Games, such as Dungeons & Dragons or The World of Darkness.

My main ones are currently: Pokemon Odyssey, Sword Art Online and Children are Hunted.
Where did you RP before here?
December 5th, 2012 11:06 PMLilizuki
That's a shame. Myself, I got used to rocket-speed RPs a while ago, and the games on this forum seem to go quite slowly. What games are you in? Might be interesting to read through them.
December 5th, 2012 10:16 PMClaire*
I really want to, I just don't know if I have adequate time for it. I'm still mulling over the idea. I don't want to spread myself too thin in my RPs.
December 5th, 2012 10:14 PMLilizuki
Hopefully I won't disappoint! Are you considering signing up for it?
December 5th, 2012 10:07 PMClaire*
No problem. It looks like your first RP here is going to be a popular one. I rarely see sign ups progress that quickly around here.
