I've seen guides. Let's just say they involve you running the opponent out of moves. Item cloning, GO!

I gotta say this... Battle Institute and Battle Maison trainers are such huge cheaters. I remember using my Chandelure against an NPC's Sceptile and it killed me in one hit with a crit Leaf Storm.
You have to admit my reaction to that was goddamn shocked.
I even ended up forfeiting one battle solely due to the opponent holding a Bright Powder.

Nintendo finally did commercials right.
SETTLE IT IN SMASH!

Well, Mega Stones are irreplaceable without restarting the game, so doing them that way is just bad. It forces a player to get both games themselves if they don't want to give up their only instance of an exclusive Mega Stone, then they can't even save the stone in Bank with the Pokémon while replaying the game to get the other Mega Stone. Ridiculous.

Yeah, it's the whole "Socialization Bonus" thing but it can frustrate some people.

Keep in mind requiring opposite versions for Mega Stones follows their identical reason for version-exclusive Pokémon; you are encouraged to buy both games to get everything.

I saw your convo with LilJz and yeah, I do agree that people here at PC (or in fact Pokemon players in general) shouldn't have to go through such annoying or time-consuming procedures just to get a Mega Stone.
I was clearly not a fan of the fact some Mega Stones in X/Y literally required trading it from the opposite version, like Manectric/Houndoom and Tyranitar/Aggron.

I agree with what Sheep messaged, you should try and get active in TWL again especially when you realize how friendly Dragon really is. He's doing quite a great job and that's why I've always got a heart for the board. Sheep in fact inspired me to get active there, although my activity faded lately due to my computer not being with me at the moment for what is now three weeks.
I do hope my activity can get back on track soon though.
BTW, I have a Shiny Jirachi.
I think some do it at the Sushi place too.
A bunch-a cockaninny cheaters trying to save the restaurant's savings.

I swear it's rigged to make you waste time using some stupid junk like "Feint".
This I so agree with. Maybe that's why I never challenge Restaurant Le Wow, solely due to that Floatzel + Lucario duo used by one trainer there who spam Protect, causing your hopes of a perfect record to get snuffed out. NPC Trainers are quite the cheaters aren't they?

My view: if it costs $100 more, get the new system. Enough said. Otherwise you're putting off the inevitable and paying a lot more.
I'm frugal myself, so I know what that's like.

The latter, while being a good option, sadly is a problem because my family is tight-budgeted.

I hope you don't have to pay to get online! But yeah, some limit your daily use to two hours or something. I'd just get a new system; some laptops are cheap nowadays and there may be good used ones for the cost of some repairs.

I was just used to it lol.
And yeah, you may have noticed I'm invisible at the moment. It's because I've been suffering issues with my computer lately, it's been overheating and I'm planning to send it in for repairs (again) this week. During the time it's getting fixed, I'm going to have limited access to the internet as I'll likely have to rely on my local library (mine's like just a short walk from where I live) or an internet cafe.
