It was in a sentence... It was in a poem. At least I still made a B on the test.

Ah, but that's not entirely your fault, they should have put it into a sentence or something which would then help get the definition.

I think the word that I had messed up on was station... I though that it was like a train station, but it turned out to mean like a person's place in society or something...

    Yeah
Ah.. I see, surely though, the definitions will be the same so that it will not matter? There are only a few homonyms in English so it shouldn't matter too much

Some teachers let us use our phones...
And sometimes the tests trick us by making us look at more than one definition for a word.

Ahwwww That's a huge let down! At my school we're allowed to use our phones if we use them for academic purposes. Well, some teachers let us anyway
All you really need is one definition though, surely?

Someone wanted to go to dictionary.com, but our teacher was like "No phones allowed!" because she wanted us to work on our dictionary skills. Apparently, I don't know how to look at more than one definition of a word. @~@

Hahahah! A very anti-climatic conclusion to come to, but a conclusion nevertheless I think that 'yay' is in the dictionary, but that's just me!

We decided that we couldn't tell if yay was in the dictionary because our dictionaries are old.
