It's almost time for the Hack of the Year anyway, and the rules will be posted there, so I am sure that it will be explained there. You don't have to worry though.

Wow, sounds complicated... to complex for my brain, XD

Hack of the Year has three rounds.
The first round is where people of the community will put nominate a hack of their liking in different categories like Best Scripting, Best Storyline, etc. The judges will then gather all the names of the nominated hacks that will qualify for the second round, where the pipz of the community will vote their favorite hacks.
The judges will then count the number of votes, and the top three will be judged by the judges themselves to be titled the Hack of the Year.

Ah, Eevee and its family in Unova, brings back memories of the early days of Perils of Unova. Really, Izzy and Fuchsia are my favorite characters, Eevee and Skitty being old favorites of mine. Oh and by the way, I've started getting visitors on my page, yeyz! Question though, are you automatically entered in Hack of the Year, or what? I'm a long way from finished with Topaz Ice, but I'd like to know...

Glaceon eh? Nice.
I am currently following a PKMN fanfic starring a Glaceon and his adventures in Unova.
Anyway, yeah, ROM Hacking is really wonderful, but don't get me wrong though, but for me (who was here in PC for a long time now), ROM Hacking is kinda slowing down now... But that's just me. Maybe that, or I'm just too busy with real life now to even notice ROM Hacking when I used to.
Growing up sucks, so you better enjoy it while you can.

Well, I don't mean to be off topic here, but in my opinion, PC and ROM Hacking are the best things since sliced bread... I enjoy it, it gives my life some purpose.

You're...funny sometimes. xD
No offence. :\
Anyway, yeah, I wasn't even aware of the new PMD game.

Thank goodness for VMs!
1. I wouldn't know about the new game.
2. Well, I'm too lazy to put the rest...
@destinedjagold, thanks for the answer! I was all like, whaaaaaaaaaat?! A notification? Probably the police/mods... XD

I searched the Groudon image through Unlz-GBA and replaced the image. I think there are numerous tutorials on editing the title screen though. I ain't much of a graphics expert myself, so I can't really help you much on that department.
Anyway, you don't have to worry about leaving messages in VM's.
And don't worry. I'm sure, once you will share your hack here, you'll start getting a couple of VM's.

Hey, just wondering, how did you add sprites to the titlescreen of Rescue Rangers? Just copy/pasting, or would there be some sort of indexing problem? I was making this thing called Perils of Unova, and I've got pretty much no animating skill, because I'm lazy... so it was basically just like all these disembodied images strung together. This was, of course before I discovered hacking, along with the Ruby Destiny series. The mains are all Pokemon, so I wanted their sprites on the titlescreen. I want you to know that I'm not the kind of person who goes around stealing others' work (just in case people thought that about my making a hack with Mystery Dungeon sprites). I know I've been leaving messages here a lot, sorry about that. It must feel nice to get VMs and PMs every day... wish I had some, I'm zero-known. (That was grammatically incorrect, wasn't it...?)

It's still not working... =/ I tried using XSE again, and the glitch mart happened, as it has before.... I have no idea how to fix this, I've tried everything, but neither of my computers will work... I don't know what else to do. So I figure that I'll just have to get script help from somebody else. Thanks for trying to help though.
September 8th, 2012 5:31 PMdestinedjagold
Try this one, but if still does not work, then I have no idea why it is not working.
September 8th, 2012 9:23 AMMeowing Mewtwo
So sorry to bug you again, but even though I switched to XSE, my scripts kept getting absolutely mangled. So I switched to PKSV, and I still can't get them to work. either nothing happens, or a glitched up poke mart menu appears, not to mention the one I got today where it just made the level up noise whenever you talked to it. You, as the creator of the Ruby Destiny games and its epic scripts (I watched a montage), know very well that no scripts means no game. This is really stressing me out, because if I can't get the scripts to work, my game is just a map edit. So sorry to bother you once again, but if you could give me any help at all, that would be awesome. I'm also posting in the script help thread, as I really need some answers badly. Here's my script:Spoiler:Spoiler:
I have NO IDEA what is happening! This is a script that happens toward the middle of Topaz Version, and basically it hates me. So I'm using PKSV, and really, I need all the help I can get. Anything you've got would be really appreciated. Sorry for the long message, by the way...

You're adding a PKMN which doesn't exist in the third generation games, right?
If you are, then there is a way to add some without replacing the existing ones, I think...
There are 20+ blank slots after Celebi and before Treecko. Those blank spots can be used, however, their cries, by default, are Unown.
But there is another way to add a new PKMN without replacing any other which are currently existing, but I have no slight idea how to do that.
But I know the guy who has accomplished that though, so you are probably better to ask him instead of me. =/
This is his thread, by the way. He already locked and discontinued the project, 'cause he switched into FireRed.

Heya DJG, Meow again~
So I watched your tutorial for adding new sprites (YouTube), and I realized that it seems there wouldn't be a way to make a givepokemon script or add them in the wild in Advance Map without deleting other Pokemon... can you clarify a little? = ) Thanks in advance, all of your help has been very appreciated!
~Meow, aka a bunch of other names~
