I'm gonna start by saying that I'm not a native English speaker, so maybe "grouchy" wasn't the word I was looking for, hmm.
I guess that's what makes it difficult to score a perfect meal, right? I don't train there, come to think of it, the speed breeding event was the first time in a while that I even touched my game. I even signed up for the post-game event, but I've been putting it off all these days. I just caught my final team member, so I have until tomorrow to train everybody to level 60 and beat the League. Let the grinding commence!
Grouchy? No, just upset that they are able to use moves like Protect on the exact turn you need to nail them on to get a perfect battle. It's like they're taunting you to either take them out early or they're making you take them out later. You will never enjoy your food the way it was meant to be.
Talk about horrible service. LOL Time to take a False Swiper in. It's my first shot at Sushi, and my first actual Le Wow earlier (I checked it out with a weaker party and then reset).
Well someone's grouchy, hehe. Are you trying to go for the exact number of turns?
Breeder's Corner is where we talk breeding. It's kinda casual, we just share our breeding stories and each month we have a breeding project where we go for a Pokemon that fits the theme. Thought you'd fit right in
I have a Ditto farm (only missing Bashful). Nature wasn't an issue.
I lucked out with Rock Head on the second Relicanth I encountered, which happened to be female. My facepalm was when I bred it for the moves, then while carrying the Eggs saw 87.5%. After swearing slightly, I had to decide whether to play for another female from the 50% Egg rate or level up Wailmer and go for the 20% Egg rate. I do have one male Relicanth with only Agility, and the other with only Brine, because the female didn't turn out.
The Quiet Eggs took a while, due to hatch time, but Ditto got it right eventually with the female on the fifth. I just had to deal with Wailmer from there.
I probably should have tried for a female with one of the moves. It might have been quicker. But then, I might have needed two more females.
Haha, actually, I came online after you posted after Omicron's post
What I did was, first went out with a Quiet Synchronizer to get Relicanth, since I already had a lv. 25 male Wailmer that I was planning to level up afterwards. So there I was, fishing in the rain. After a few Relicanth, all males, I checked bulbapedia for gender ratio and facepalmed. So I decided to Synchronize a male Wailmer instead, which was annoying because Tentacruel.
Then, I went fishing for a female Relicanth with my boy Puff Daddy, the male Wigglytuff, haha. The first five females I caught all had Swift Swim. I couldn't believe it, especially since it took 5-10 Premier Balls each. So I went back to the Poke Center, and got my Tracer, so I could check abilities. And by the laws of Murphy, the next female had Rock Head. It took a few more balls to catch her.
And lo and behold, she was Quiet. So I didn't even have to Sync the male Wailmer in the beginning, I could have just used the one I had...
Which I did. I leveled him up until he learned Brine and Amnesia. Gave the female Relicanth an Everstone, and put them in the daycare. And the rest is history.
Also, the challenge was posted early (look at the time), so there I lost five minutes...and then I had to even go get the Super Rod before getting Relicanth. So I lost a LOT of time on this. I'd say we tied. LOL
Yeah, I had always meant long ago to get a Wailmer in my PC because it's a great teammate on a number of teams, and learns good moves. I never bothered checking my surfing catches. And I paid for it by not having it ready today.
I actually bred the moves from mates that already had them gambling on getting a female, but both turned out male. I said screw this, I'll get a Wailmer. I should have leveled it while running around with the Eggs, perhaps, but I might have lost more time.
Sorry, I just really wanted to do this, because the first day I used Rare Candies, and I felt bad since you guys didn't even after I posted.
But oh man, my heart skipped a beat, 'cause right when I was done with the Wailmer, you posted that yours just learned Brine, I thought no way, he's done leveling up too? But then I realized that mine had just learned Amnesia, not Brine, so you actually still had a few levels to go
