Well, if you want to be in an RP that I'm in (don't know if you do, but it might be easier on you to know someone) I can only really recommend Pokemon: Rise of the Titans. It's a crossover with another book, but not all that difficult to figure out. I can also say that you might want to give Pokemon Trainer Academy a try, but it can get to be overwhelmingly large. There's a new RP called How to Train Your Pokemon as well, and it looks interesting, pluse the GM is awesome. Other than that, there's not a lot I can tell you to go for from my perspective, since you want Pokemon RPs with available spots. Does that help at all? x3

Thank you for that Haha What I meant by picking your posts... I actually meant how do you pick which RP thread you want to participate in? (Bad wording, I know) I've been checking on the Role Playing Corner alot and I would really like to get involved, but my problem is finding one that isn't filled up completely. Thank you for the sign up advice!

Alright, well I'm not sure if anyone has already answered this question for you, but to get started in RPing all you need to do, for the most part, is find an RP you want to join and post on the thread that says it's accepting SUs (sign-ups). Obviously you're going to want to either post your sign up form or just say you're expressing interest since most RPs don't take reservations that I've seen.

Okay, so if you need some help with SUs then I'll come back to that, but that's about it. I generally look for new RPs when they come out, personally. I'm not quiiite sure what you mean by choosing my posts though.

I'm not sure if Im gonna get a mentor yet or not. I'm not in a huge hurry on deciding what "department" I want my help in yet But I'm really interested in this RPing. I've been reading alot of stories and posts and it looks like soooooooo much fun. My only question is how do you get started? I would really like to be involved in a Pokemon Journey Role Play that I can create a trainer and pick a starter pokemon. I've viewed quite a few but most of them have been running for a while and all of the spots are filled. What do you normally do when it comes to choosing your role playing posts?

No problem at all. I had no idea how VMs worked when I first joined either. So do you think you'll be getting a mentor then? If you are, what section will you be choosing?

Oh, and thank you so much for the compliment. You have no idea how much that means to me. There are a lot of wonderful RPers here, though, and I would definitely recommend checking them out. Most of them are ten times better at writing than I am, and they write some amazing stuff.

Sorry about the whole "Posting on my site and have you get a notification thing" haha I'm still getting used to the site still and the VMs and such. Thank you so much for you advice... I really do appreciate it!

Oh my, I'm sorry. I didn't notice you had replied to me since it was on your own profile. Here's my response, in any case. If you need a ton of help with Wi-Fi then a mentor would probably be a good start, but they can only help you so much, understand. Mentors are here mostly for the sake of guiding you around the section of the forum you intend to frequent. Both battling and trading have their own area of the forum, though, so you would have to pick one when getting a mentor.

I think you should at least try anything you might like, anyways. PC's a great place.

Sorry I had to leave so abruptly. I pretty much fell asleep at my computer last night. xD

Hm, I was referring to Wi-Fi battles, though working on in-game strategies is worthwhile too. I generally find the main game to be easy, but doing things like challenges are a whole new experience. Never once have I succeeded in a Nuzlocke. Oh, and I know how you feel about TCG. I'm an only child, and no manner of convincing could get anyone I knew to play with me, so I would sometimes try to battle myself. And it never worked out. As for RPing...well, I'm not all that active. I mean, so long as you post maybe once a week you should be good. We don't do very fast paced roleplays here. Er...except maybe PTA, but I'm less active in that than I should be too.

Well I really need to work more on my building, but I really should work on my battle technique as well since towards the end of the games, I usually struggle with defeating the elites. I will definitely look into the Clubs. I had heard about TCG clubs but since I have lived in small towns as well, I never got into the trading cards. I collected a few but all I could do was battle with myself which was alot harder than I thought. Haha. With the Rping, do you have to be very very active, as in checking online all the time for updates? I would really like to get into it, I have always been really creative with my writing, but how often do you have to post to remain an active member of that particular roll playing feed?

RPing isn't for everyone, of course, but I think it's a lot of fun. Admittedly it's somewhat difficult to get into at first, but it really helps with writing, among other things. As for finding people with an interest, that shouldn't be too hard. Some people here have lost their interest in Pokemon, but Pokemon is obviously what this forum is all about. xD

And I wasn't even aware that there were Pokemon clubs in real life. I guess it make sense since they hold tournaments for things like TCG, but I've lived in smaller areas for the grand majority my life. Besides, these clubs are the best clubs. Oh, and as for help on gameplay, do you like competitive battling or team building? Because there are a lot of people that like to help with those things here.

Well I don't do alot of RPing... and its sad to say that I haven't really checked it out on the site yet so I dont know what it all entails. But I do play the games and I used to watch the show when I was a little kid and I love re-watching them for nostalgia. I think I mainly joined because I wanted to connect with with people who have the interest in Pokemon as I do since I don't have any clubs here where I live to join. Its so awesome to see such a diversity. Plus I can get some major tips on my gameplaying. Which helps alot sometimes.

Well that's good. I would say that I've been into Pokemon a long time too, but it's only been about eight years since I started playing. So where do you want PC to take you, anyways? I come here mostly for RPing myself, but if you're really into Pokemon at the moment then checking out Pokemon Clubs is a definite recommendation.
