    ooohhh....

So you'll know what vars to use if you set this certain flag... Thanks this is really helpful.

You got me confused at first since you didn't indicated to use the hex calculator LOL.

    Thanks though.

Want me to help you what the flags overwrite?

Good luck, and I present to you the safe flag formula:

With it, you can choose which var you would not like to use and have 16 flags at your disposal.

(((Flag - 900)/8)/2)+4000= var number flag is is stored in.

    Flag 1000 affects var 4070.

I'm going to put a post in R&D, this is starting to get a little beyond my capabilities.

Experimenting with those flags again. I created a script which sets flags 0x900-11FF (yeah, I'm am expert at copy and paste, lol) and I found that around var 4250, setting those flags doesn't make a difference 0.o. I'll keep investigating and find out where exactly they do stop having an effect.

Setting all of those flags loses it's effect after var 408F. All of the ones higher (at least up to 4380, I haven't checked any higher) are not affected by setting high number flags.... This is weird.

I guess I should check my VMs before my PMs. This also clears it up because I was testing the wrong flags. It's 900+ that overwrite, not 1000+. Just wondering, do flags take up one byte or two and do you know where they are stored? As I said, I always like to put things to the test. I stopped taking things at face value awhile ago. Just too many pranks.....

Also but not seeing the flag in the already used flags in diego's tut doesn't mean they're already safe to use.

    Here's a link to what I'm talking about... http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthr...56#post6829256

And here look at the very first reply. http://www.pokecommunity.com/convers...=316675&page=2

So technically they are not safe to use. I used those flags in scripting DR and that might be the cause of it having many bugs.
