I'd say Veteren since there's a chance they'll rerelease him with his old attacks and if they keep the super smash then the new form would be the Super Smash or a different character entirely. They have done that before with Samus I think. If not, then they can play it off the same way they did with Princess Zelda.
Never trust Wikipedia, and the news report originated from the Official Nintendo Magazine from the UK, which is one of the legit game resources. Whether or not Sakurai will add a Capcom rep doesn't contradict the news article, because there will be new characters, but not as much like in Melee and Brawl, which means possibly less than 10 newcomers for SSB4. A few of my Skype contacts have heard about this news before and started predicted how the roster will be made on said information (one of them even considers removing a lot of characters like Luigi, Jigglypuff, and Olimar, to make room for the new characters).
ok? And? Look I've been playing since Gen 1. I know how to raise my team. In Game doesn't have that lethal of an AI that you can go through it with one specific type and have little trouble. The team in my signature is an In game team. Its not meant to be perfect. It got me through to the end which was its purpose.
There are also competitive teams that use more than one of similar types that share the same weakness. I'm not the first to use more than one Pokemon that share at least one weakness. I won't be the last either.
Well it's important that teams can't repeat the same type with two diferent Pokemon unless they have different weaknesses (Ex: using Empoleon and Scizor), because your team will be at a huge disadvantage against a certain type on both in-game and competitively.
