No, it's just recently the internet's been raving about how awesome bacon is. Like that's anything new (bacon being awesome, I mean).

By "the whole bacon thing," do you mean the swine flu fiasco that happened a few years ago?

True, but a lot of things in satire also happen to be greatly exaggerated. Still, you're right about the wake-up call part, especially for the stuff that ISN'T greatly exaggerated.

Still, the whole zombie thing is nothing more than the stuff of fantasy, except for the "zombies" I've just described. It's also something that's been seeing another craze lately and I have no idea why. Same with the whole bacon thing.

Satire is suppose to be a wake-up call on what we should be doing irl.

Satire really isn't meant to be taken THAT seriously. XD

Because I do, and it's how I view society as a whole based on their portrayal from shows such as the Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park.

No I was referring to the flesh-decaying, bone-revealing, torned cloth zombies.

Unless the "zombies" you're referring to are office co-workers and bored accountants.

I don't think I've ever heard of a single biology professor talk of a potential zombie apocalypse during a virus lecture. EVER.

Because it's the most realistic way for a world crisis due to unknown viruses that cause them.

What the hell is it with people and zombies lately?

Do you think another reason to keep guns in the U.S. is so that civilians can be easily prepared for a possible zombie apocalypse?

Don't really know when they'll reopen it. I'll have to check next time I'm there; which might be tomorrow for all I know. I'll be going around the Monterey Peninsula taking photos, so I'll be in the area, might as well drop in since I can get in for free.

I did remember on their official website, they had a page for a seahorse exhibit they use to have, so I guess it came back. Yeah, I heard about the death of the otter; do you know when they'll re-open that exhibit? I've heard about the Great Whites; it must be a risky feat.
