Nope luckily lol I have been accepted into the college I want so I have been getting that ready. Starting now I might not be on much until I get things with the college squared away. Also I will not be on for a long time in either June/July because I will be moving cross-country XD
I think it is if you have lived a full life. I don't think it as a deserving reward for those who take their own life because they "can't do" something. That is just plan selfishness and laziness. Nothing in this world is that horrible. Yes there are horrible things in this world but nothing that one can't overcome if they really try and have help.
Makes you feel like death is it's own reward? I think it is, as it does lift the burden off of you, so that you don't have to lift a finger, or worry about anything else anymore, but I digress. I'm not sure if that's what you think.
What's even more so is that a lot of companies are out-sourcing their jobs to other countries. The reason: so that they can take advantage of the cheap labor over there - it's as close to slave labor as it gets, without it actually being slave labor.
Also, there's not much that can be done about those prices, & especially the preservatives in the food, outside of growing your own crops & raising your own livestock.
I got to thinking and I think the location plays a lot in the prices and so there for the ability of buying healthy food. People who live in costal areas can get cheap seafood because it is easily available where as people who live in a area known for cattle can get cheaper beef.
I just got back from our supermarket today. During which, I had a look on some of the prices for all the meats & seafood. Some of the fillets of fish range up to $7, & some of them aren't even that big. Then again, some of this stuff is coming from Canada. Shrimp cost up to $12 a pound, Scallops around $10-$15 a pound.
Then there's chicken at around $3.50 a pound roughly, & pork loins that are around $30, but they're pretty big, & can feed a person for weeks.
Then again, I live in close vicinity to quite a few farms myself.
