I was into theater but that idea was stomped on by those who believe they had more potential. I always wanted to do create a manga and maybe do some art for it. VAing would be cool but I feel my voice isn't proper for doing so.
@Teacher: *shin kick*
I'm debating on doing something programming related, piloting (which I'm faltering on), some form of art or some form of audio engineering (which seems mundane in a few ways). I really am an indecisive person... guess that's my fatal flaw although I have a lot of other flaws.

No clue, really. My high school extracurricular activities were theater and culinary arts, and both pay terribly. The dream is to be a voice actor. Culinary's completely out of the equation because my first job was in a restaurant and it was a nightmare. Also once my teacher gave a three-hour lecture on material from our textbook and then said "But none of that applies to actuality; it's just theory."
What about you?

I never thought about relating Ilias Cruz or Ilias to real life but once I think about it, Ilias bears a vaguely metaphorical resemblance to someone like Hitler. The story is way better than people let on. I love seeing the development of Luka although I'm curious as to if he has any development left.
What do you plan to major in if you goto college?

Discrimination and acceptance. Luka spends the entirety of two games traveling the world with the ultimate symbol of evil and eventually turns his sword on the embodiment of all that is good because he comes to terms with the fact that the world isn't black and white. Through his adventure he meets many good monsters and bad humans, both of which shake his world view quite a bit, and ultimately he strives to create a society where everybody can live together because he knows that it's possible. Some parts of the story reflect real life (Ilias Cruz is a militant hate group, Ilias herself is a corrupt leader bent on genocide, etc.) but it was all vague enough to not actually parallel any real events.

Same here. I doubt my friend's reasons also.
I was looking into the deeper theme of different games such as the Persona Series, Far Cry, Zelda, Fallout, etc. and I really wanted to ask, what do you think is the theme of MGQ?
March 10th, 2013 1:15 PMSweets Witch
No worries. Just make sure you point out how solid the writing is. I got a friend of mine to play it by saying that (but then again he's into some pretty weird stuff so I kind of doubt his reasons).

If a person found that enjoyable then they have a sick sense of entertainment XD.
Thankfully I haven't gotten to that point. I'm going to show MGQ to a friend of mine and hopefully they wont get thrown off by the fact that it's an H-Novel. Doesn't bother me (except for things like the previously mentioned H-Scene) so hopefully it won't bother them.

OH GOD NO
That's one of those H-scenes that I've tried my best to forget back because it was
I can't even describe it

I deleted KS, Clannad, Fate/Stay, and Saya no Uta on accident. Never finished any of them except Saya no Uta. I'm really envious of the people who composed the music for MGQ. The Serine Mind and Umi (Ocean) songs on the Soundtrack sound amazing to me.
BTW, I heard of what happened in the H-Scene for the Beezlebubs with the eggs... *shudders*

It'd be awesome if there was something like that. I just have to go by memory and it's really annoying because I've forgotten so much. And I think I deleted a few. Whoops.
March 9th, 2013 7:24 AMdcjboi
XD it is. BTW I was foolish enough to give into temptations and play the MGQ3 demo but I won't speak of it to you. The good news is, I'm going to get 100% completion in 1 & 2 and then play A New Game + when I finish.
Never finished KS but I think I will restart the whole thing since it's been, what a year or two since it's release?
I really need a simple way to document all the VN's I've played because soon it's gonna get out of hand.

My friend wanted to get all of the good paths, but she didn't know that you could skip text that you already read so it took her twice as long because she kept reading the beginning over and over. Auto-skipping is a wonderful tool.
March 8th, 2013 9:14 PMdcjboi
XD yeah there's a bunch of easy to miss scenes. There was more than just a good/bad path and what I did by instinct was make a new save for each choice.
March 8th, 2013 3:53 PMSweets Witch
Trying to 100% VNs can be so difficult. I was stuck at 98/99% in Katawa Shoujo for a month or two because I couldn't find the one little scene that I was missing.
March 7th, 2013 4:58 PMdcjboi
XD I got in the habit of doing so after playing a few VN's and the Fallout Series. Also because I get angered when I finish a game and have gotten very few of the collectables because then I have to spend hours looking for them.
