Sure there's such thing, the sexuality of the viewer doesn't have anything to do with it. Boy that looks like girl = trap, girl that looks like boy = reverse trap. Simple. ^.^
Believe it or not, the Yosuke/MC fans are many and very vocal. I don't really like the pairing much, though. But you actually get the option to hug and kiss Teddie in Golden, but nothing comes out of it. I'm looking forward to most all of those games (and omg another inFAMOUS!) but probably won't be getting the PS4 anytime soon. I have a 3ds and the new Fire Emblem, though and I recommend it highly.
If you are bi, is there such thing as a reverse trap?
I was debating on getting P3 FES but I need to get a new PS2 controller which I haven't done out of Frugalness and laziness. I'm too poor for a vita too... I'm debating on if I should save for a 3DS (For X&Y and the new Fire Emblem), Wii U (for Smash Bros 4), or the PS4 (Watchdog, Persona 5). Catgirl Naoto is really hard to imagine and I always thought they should have allowed for romance with all of the "seekers of the truth" (except for yosuke because it just seems odd). Honestly, I never got the True ending of Persona 4 although I was debating on starting the whole game over one day since I haven't played it in a year.
I applaud you on your independent efforts. Hopefully it turns out well although you must put serious work in to pay such expenses.
XD or something like that... made my day.
And yeah... My computer is Crap too. It overheats windows XP (the xp says it all, the face is mocking me), it has 512mb of ram....
I used to love Fighting games in the style of Arena but now it revolts me... no offense or anything, I just had a few bad experiences. I heard the writing was good though.
Yes, Naoto's more of a trap, but she's a reverse trap. There's a profound difference.
I never played much of Devil Summoner, but the bit I did play was alright. The only reason I stopped playing it was because of just losing on a level in a really stupid and aggravating way... and then I just never really got back to it. I should sometime. As for P3, it's pretty fun. It's on the whole much darker than Persona 4, but you still have some comedic moments. I'm not sure if I reccomend P3FES or P3P. Being able to play as a girl was pretty cool, especially with the new social links that the female protagonist gets. But P3P doesn't have The Answer, which is an interesting look at one of the characters. Catherine was a lot of fun, but I'm not all that great with puzzles so I was ripping my hair out in some places. I even broke my usual rule and stopped playing at one point JUST to go online on this piece of junk computer and spent two hours looking up a solution. P4 Golden is a DEFINITE reccomendation on my part. If you have a Vita, get Golden. It's the same game, yeah, but the amount of content they added is mind boggling. You get two new Social Links, everyone gets a THIRD Persona to evolve to with unique moves for everyone (my favourite is Naoto's Shield of Justice), an extra dungeon, a new boss, more endings, you can have the characters in costumes throughout the game (including Teddie both as a human and crossdressed. Cheerleader Teddie = squeeeeeee... oh yeah and Catgirl Naoto) and a lot of the new scenes that they added to it were hilarious. Especially Naoto during the Ski Trip. Naoto is hilariously adorable during the Ski Trip and you WILL ship her with Kanji by the end.
I like Arena. I really do. I love the Blazblue series, so there's familiarity with the genre there. You also get to see the Persona 3 cast after their game, so it's cool to see how they've changed. And the writing is actually pretty good. Not to mention it seems to set up the plot for the next Persona game. (I hope) I know that a lot of people are complaining about it, but I think Arena definitely needs more love. Lots more.
I've been working my butt off to save up the money for college on my own. If all goes well I'll be going through it without oweing a cent to anybody.
And we can never see ourselves as amazing as others see us. It reminds me of the first episode of Community. "Take a look at me. It is clear to all of you that I am awesome. But I cannot say that because we as people are programmed to not see ourselves in a positive light." Or something like that.
XD someone has a fascination with Sylph... I really cannot chose between the 4... I love them all ability wise but I feel personality-wised Sylph and Undine win out and I definitely agree with what you said about the original piece. Salamander never got to shine except for in battles after she was introduced so I never really was able to get a full liking of her...
I've only finished Persona 4 and started Catherine (Always wanted to finish it to this day). How were Devil Summoner, Catherine and P3 FES? I feel like Golden and Arena would be a waste of time but maybe not... (well maybe Arena is still pointless). I was working on a Persona RP but I don't know if I should recycle the Midnight Hour in it and the basis for creating a persona except for basing it on a mythological figure.
Hopefully Journalism goes well... I'm fearful for going to college because of the fear of paying back loans... Also because I'm indecisive and hesitant in too many cases.
XD I died when I saw what you said about Teddie making you bi... Naoto was more of a Trap though...
Because I'm amazing I guess XD. People say I bring out the best of people but I always feel that's BS.
Hmm. I'm actually pretty hung up on the spirits. Sylph is a hoot, and I think her H-Scene was the best tied with maybe Salamander. I also enjoyed Undine and Salamander's little catfight, and that one moment where Gnome goes above and beyond with her abuse of Sylph and practically goes Fist of the North Star on her... my god that was a hilarious set-up for an otherwise dramatic boss fight... At the end of the day I think I'm gonna HAVE to go with Sylph because of her comic relief role. I have to give Undine credit, though, for actually being serious when she said she'd kill you if you fail her test. Your ideas could probably make a decent orignal piece, y'know. Something to consider.
And hells yes I'm a Persona fan. You may also notice that I have a picture of Raidou fighting with Lyra. Sadly I never played his games. The only SMT games I've played aside from the Persona series is Devil Summoner 2 and Catherine (if Catherine even counts...) But yeah, I looooooooooove the Persona series. Persona 4 Golden was, like, THE reason why I got a Vita. I actually got into the series through an RP site a friend of mine was on, and then I found out it was based on a game series. I stumbled upon P3 FES at a GameStop about a year later... and the rest is history. I'm pretty sure crossdressed Teddie was partially responsible for making me bi. (Well, that's a lie, I was like that before him, but it definitely made me like traps.) I was SO PISSED when I found out that you CAN'T romance him in Golden! I thought for sure you could because there was a genuine screenshot of the main character kissing him!
I guess I picked Journalism for a few reasons. I could never decide what I wanted to do when I was actually in high school, but Journalism was up there, kind of because I was always fascinated with radio and stuff... I was told I'd do good with the news. And keeping up to date on things is something that, while I'm not very good at right now, I like to do. The course descriptor won me over too, basically I'll be going over the whole gamut, broadcasting, newspaper, TV, Radio, blogging... the works.
Edit: Holy crap how'd you get me to offer up a VM this big?
I really loved doing Serene Mind... The music makes me feel really calm and the first version of it was better to me because of it.
I was thinking the RP that I was working on might make a better Fan-Fic or maybe both but I'm really at a standstill... I was going to think of a few places, the kinds of technology, factions, etc. but It's difficult for me.
Are you a persona fan? I was browsing though your albums and saw Naoto.
Why Journalism... sounds interesting but I feel like there is a standout reason.
Nah, I'm not back in school yet. I'm heading in on September. No, at the moment I'm just working. I work at a service center on the highway, and yesterday was a holiday and the tail end of a long weekend. I worked for all of it, and my god if they didn't pick the most detrimental shifts to my posting that they could...
