Hahaha, it really is. The Succubus Village in Part 2 is particularly silly as well in parts, especially if you go back to it after solving its mission. Also, Granberia, the Knight of Fire, is more than just a total boss. She is boss personified. She eats, drinks, breathes and bleeds boss. But then in Part 2, when you lose to her in that... wow. Just... wow. She goes a complete 180 and becomes adorable...especially in her final battle when you get to see her blush of all things.
Yeah, its a generally friendly place. One thing though, a lot of the ROM hackers tend to be quite the opposite compared to the rest of the populace.
*Sadface* Oh well. Regardless I came up with a city although I have been unable to name it. It would have 3 different layers. the outer rim would be a security line and the core would be split into two areas: one being an area that has recovered for the most part although the crime rate in the area is extremely high. In this area, the would be a very large underworld with criminal factions but it would also be home to a few mercenary businesses. Also there would be a restriction on who can enter this level of the city, either a toll, documents of residents, or otherwise special cases would allow you to pass although there would be a few other ways to get in. The other part of the core would be a run down slum were crime runs more rampant, buildings are in poor condition etc. and this city would be one of the most prosperous locations in the world. I wanted it to be a good place for sandbox interactions to take place
Everyone on the forums seems to be quite friendly, so it's rather nice here. As for an IM client, I've worked with a few but they're all incredibly poor on almost any sort of internet connection I can regularly and easily get my hands on, so I've generally just sort of stopped using them.
Yup. Kind of hilarious that you are more eager to talk about it more than I am. The Ideas that I came up with were more on specific locations in the story's setting. I can tell you about it if you want. Also you convinced me to get MGQ today so in a few it's going to be on my desktop, though I won't start it until tomorrow.
You seem to know your Stuff XD. Seems good to me. I have a good idea that you are going to add the awesome factor into this story. Go ahead and sleep on it and I'll do the same, maybe later we can do this again
I'd actually reccomend keeping it our solar system and have the planetoid be from the Vega system. If only because you could then have the characters stumble across the apocalyptic log of an astronomer from the old age, discovering that entire planets are being snuffed out and frantically trying to prove his findings as more and more planets fade from existance. After all, logs of people going bat**** insane over their coming doom is Cosmic Horror 101. I'm trying to think of ways you can make the abomination's presence more pronounced without giving it away, but I'm drawing up blanks at the moment. Let me sit on it for a bit and I'll see what my brain can drum up. Either way, I'd be happy to at the very least advise you on this. Like I said, I've got a lot on my plate for much else, but I'm always happy to help a fellow RPer.
