I just wouldn't know what to do. We don't have a PC server to play on (we could always play on public servers). The only thing we do have is a chatroom on Steam. We could just get everyone in there (during a certain time period?) and see who wants to jump onto public servers together for a muck-around and give emblems to everyone who's involved at the end. Also, I'm not staff in the chatroom, either. Scratch that, we could make a new one for the Event.
We could ask in the TF2 thread what people want to do and if there are any volunteers, but I'm the last post, so I can't exactly double-post.
I've hosted an event before (a long time ago, mind you. 5 years in fact. Wow!) that I was underqualified for and it was a train-wreck, so you can understand why I'm hesitant just to jump in like that.
I take it Twocows has disappeared off the face of the earth? He would be the one to speak to, otherwise.
I wouldn't mind hosting the TF2 Event, but there are others who are more qualified and it's a bit difficult from Australia, as most people are going to be online when I'm asleep and someone else would have to host the server.
I don't mind helping out, but I'm not sure when I'll be free over those days.
Also, aren't mass VMs a hassle compared to PMs? (assuming you sent them)
