Ive been well, just going to school... learning various languages... fun fun. I still dont know ASM or Python lol. Ill probably tear back into this over the weekend, class just started back. Its bothering me that I cant get it working, I got everything else working so easily.
C#.... I'm pretty sure I came across one created by the creator of NSE that was public. Make sure you give credit if you find it. The images follow the LZ77 compression algorithm, which isn't too hard. It does take a bit of trial and error to code though. Took me a few days to finally get it even with actually asking a lot of people for help. I can't really remember how to decompress and re-compress unfortunately, otherwise I would tell you how to.
Anyways, I haven't seen you for a while, how you been?
Any chance you have a C# library or class for uncompressing and recompressing images from the pokemon games... I've been working on a tool for editing images and I'm all finished except for the image editing part... (I just made a thread publishing what I've got so far)
I had a fun idea for my hack. Like a mini quest. At mt moon or wherever.. a guy will ask you to defeat rampagint pkmn. There will be 5, golbat, hidden in S tiles. If you step on them ull fight 1 and when u beat all 5 u get a reward from the guy. Im nearly done writing out the script... i can put several of these quests in the game.
