Oh, I forgot about reducing the delay by advancing the year. Haven't abused in gen 4 in forever! :x

So, if I'm interpreting instructions correctly, I synchronize the DS at 7:00, for a time of 8:59. I then hit the red button on the AR at 8:37, in order to meet the 21 seconds needed for the delay.
7 minutes, wait until 8 minute 37 seconds rolls around, click start at that moment? Sounds fine enough..

Once in game flip the journal pages 372 times.
Then flip the coins and hope they match the correct flips..which is Hx6, T, H x3.
Since you're in Azelf's cavern where there are no NPC's, you can enter in-game, flip 10 coins first, make sure the coin flips match up to Hx6, T, Hx3 (if not reset and try again), and then proceed to do 372 journal flips. See the verification method in the spoiler. Opening the journal on a page with capture/defeat and flipping to those kind of pages advance +2. No other journal messages are known to advance the RNG. Just set up two consecutive or back-to-back pages for easy flipping.

Count by 20s or make tally marks or something! Don't count to 100s and lose track, lol.
    Verifying your Target Time/Delay

Use this method to determine if you have correctly hit your target time and delay before spending a lot of time hatching and egg or advancing the frame.

    For Breeding Pokémon
Collect your egg before performing the following.
    For Capturing Pokémon
Perform the following as soon as you enter the game world.

Using the Poketch Coin Flip application, flip 10 times, noting the number of heads and tails (Magikarp represents heads and the Poké Ball represents tails). Then, using RNG Reporter, click "Generate" after entering the target initial seed. Match the results of the flips with the information in the "Coin Flips for Seed" area in the bottom right corner of the RNG Reporter window. If you have hit the correct target time and delay, the results from the coin flips will match those generated by the RNG Reporter. Please note that switching to the Happiness Checker application at any time during this process will invalidate your results, so it is advised to simply save with the Coin Flip application selected. Additionally, this will not work in areas with weather effects.

I found I could reduce the delay to 600, which is the calibration delay I hit most often, by changing the year to 2061, date 1/01.

So, if I'm interpreting instructions correctly, I synchronize the DS at 7:00, for a time of 8:59. I then hit the red button on the AR at 8:37, in order to meet the 21 seconds needed for the delay.
Once in game flip the journal pages 372 times.
Then flip the coins and hope they match the correct flips..which is Hx6, T, H x3.

Then enter battle and hope it worked..?

And for teh journal, I have to flip pages that have caught pokemon right? So if I flip through a couple pages that don;t have caught pokemon to get to those pagest, that won't screw up the frame, right?

This Seed has Frame 755, Delay 650.

You find the Seed's Frame by returning to the default/main menu. Change Method to Method 1 and paste Seed into Seed (Hex). Change some ivs to 31 to narrow results. image.

You find the Seed's Delay by copy pasting the Seed into the 4th Gen Tools > Seed to Time > Check bubble DPPt. Any date and second is fine; just be sure you can hit em. image.

If you want to use this seed, you will have to use a timer to help you hit delay 650. I personally would not bother with this seed because Frame 755 is mighty, for your first try! Would you like to look through the other available seeds? I found one with Delay 1060 and Frame 14, Seed 010b042f. Still, you have to use a timer to hit that delay of 1060. Don't try to hit higher delays blindly, lol. I'll have to see what timer works for gen 4... :(

Here's the math for the frame+advances though
    Target Frame: 755
    Monster Frame: 1
    Wandering Pokémon: 0
    Total required RNG advances: 744.
    744 / 2 = 372 Journal Flips.

Nope, no roamers ATM. Just not entirely sure how to get target frame because the IV listings from Smogon I downloaded didn't list them.....

What's the target frame? Do you have a roamer out? Here's the steps, straight from Smogon:

    1. Begin your cycle of soft resetting, remembering to set the clock on your DS each and every time so that the time when you "Continue" matches your target time. Instructions for reliably hitting the target time are found in the "Common information for Breeding and Capturing Perfect Pokémon" section.

    2. Once in game, unless capturing something with a very low frame number, you will want to verify that you have correctly hit your target time and delay. The easiest way to do this is to use the Coin Flip trick, as explained in the "Common Information for Breeding and Capturing Perfect Pokémon" section. If you miss your target time and delay, immediately capture a Pokémon and use the initial seed finder to figure out what time and delay you actually hit.

    3. Figure out the correct number of RNG advances that will be required to hit your target frame. For example:
    Target Frame: 107
    Monster Frame: 1
    Wandering Pokémon: 1
    Total required RNG advances: 105.

    4. Advance the RNG by 105. In this example, the Journal page flipping and walking techniques are used. You would flip your Journal 50 times to a page which lists a captured Pokémon to advance the RNG by 100. That still leaves five, though, which can be handled by walking 128 steps with five Pokémon in the party.

    5. Capture the Pokémon and verify that it is the one you were attempting to catch. If it was not, you may want to figure out what frame it did come from so that you can correct any errors on subsequent attempts before returning to Step 1. You may do this by entering the initial seed into the seed field of RNG Reporter, clicking "Generate", and then finding the Pokémon in the list.

    Seed: 44000295
    IVs: 31/9/31/31/31/31

    Time: 8:59
    Delay: 600

    If my math is correct....

Synchronize time is 7:00, and reset time is 8:38....

Just not sure how many Journal flips I need..)=

I'm going to attempt Azelf 1st....if it doesn't work....I'll go back to calibration...and such.
