Ah snap I got the terms mixed up. Old age is getting to me I think. A lot of people in my team are either blue or green. I don't miss school as much as I miss being a kid. I'm still a kid but now trapped in an adult body with adult responsibility which isn't so bad but it's good to forget about all that stuff once in a while and be just a kid again. Your Master degree is in finance?
We're living the same lifestyle - working and living alone haha. I no longer have a formal savings as such. The flat I own is my financial investment essentially.
I think the best years of my life were university. Especially the second and final years, living with my old roommate (who is actually here right now visiting me for the weekend!) was such a blast. We both had so many similar interests - gaming, anime etc. We played the Pokemon TCG together, gamed with each other and talked about animes and it was so good.
Sorry, I fell off the edge of the planet and found some candy bars *shares*
Oh, I haven't heard anyone refer to the avatar as a display pic. :p I haven't changed my avatar in months, but I'm not sure what I'd change it to.
I would likely be blue color. I get caught up in the details so often instead of the big picture. It's what my teachers had said to me anyway. I kinda miss school, but I am not sure where I would fit in my master's. I'm still working and living on my own, but I am saving up still. Time is flying by so fast it's incredible. I consider the best years of my life as ones spent on PC. ;-;
I was going to go with flip flops but then you were harping on about heels so I went with heels instead V_V
And yeah you have a shiny leafeon as your dp?
I used to make chicken and rice for dinner with a stir fry but now it's rice, lentils and stir fry.
Also remember a long while back I showed you my personality profile - we had a team away day on Friday where we did another personality test - so about 4 years later from the one I showed you. There's four colours.
Fiery Red - Be brief, be bright, be gone.
Cool Blue - Give me details.
Sunshine Yellow - Involve me.
Earth Green - Show me that you care.
Reds tend to be leaders, blues are good at in depth analysis, yellows want to get involved and greens are good coordinators. Something like that anyway. Out of the BI team of 10 people, we had 3 blues, 3 greens, 2 yellows, 1 purple (between blue and red) and 1 red. I was the red and my role title is Director. I'd like to show the full profile sometime, I'm a little surprised I showed you the one from 4 years ago as it's in a way, bearing my soul to you lmao
I wonder what colour you would be. What do you think? I thought I'd end up as red and I did. There was a personality test to take where there were four words, you had to pick one which related to you the strongest, pick one the weakest, and then order the remaining two on a point scale of 1-5 - neither of the extremes trump the initial two choices though. So something you gave a 5 would not be as strong as the first word picked.
Wow, I had no idea you were a chef, that's so cool. I have a vegetarian cooking book at home so I use that for when I'm cooking but I'm not as versatile as you are. I know a few different dishes and I stick to those on a consistent basis basically. But who doesn't like pizza haha, I tried making a home made pizza with my family as well and it wasn't bad. Not as good as take out but I reckon it could have contended with the frozen ones. We'd have to cook some stuff together if our paths ever crossed.
My boss offered to help pay for the exam, but it would be hard to juggle full time and studies. He needs to hire another accountant before I can consider working part time. :(
Yay I got me some stilts now. I wear heels that are about 1 inch to 3 inches (7cm) tall as anything taller makes me tumble over. :p
Last month I've made tacos, pan fried tilapia with lemon juice, chicken fajitas, sautéed zucchini and squash, bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, cheesy scalloped potatoes, uhh. I just try to find a recipe online and go from there. I like chicken and beef always. and pizza! I made a homemade pizza once, but I didn't find it as good as takeout nor frozen. I didn't put enough sauce/toppings I think.
Yeah that is pretty hardcore given that you're working full time as well. Will your company give you some form of study leave and such to help you in your exam preparation?
I suppose there is a correlation with height and confidence. Whatever works for you. I'll get some stilts and then we'll have no problems lol
What kind of stuff do you cook? I got the impression from one of your posts that you cook most of your food at home, which is really, really good. Definitely pat yourself on the back for that, as it's way healthier than buying pre-made meals or ordering take-away.
Here they refer to it as CPA. There's four sections (auditing, financial, business regulation or law, tax/regulation) to take. All four sections need to be passed within an 18 month window so it's rather hardcore.
Aw :( Those were fun times! Heels can be difficult to walk in, but they poise me in a way that makes me feel more confident. You'll need to wear boots with heels for me to fit under your chin it seems like. I'm sure they make em just like that. :P
I'd love to travel to London or Canada. Someday soon when I get a vacation week. I have Monday off for the holiday, but I have nothing planned. My path of conquest is to the kitchen and back. D:
I'm not sure how it works over there but here there are two main accounting exam boards. ACCA and CIMA, are you planning on doing either of those exams or is it something different?
Only one week? That is simply unfair as I'd fallen for you a lot longer. Reminds me of the Scrafty x Whimsicott throwback. You don't need heels, I think they're stupid. Don't look very user friendly and are likely to be a liability in emergency situations. If I look up into the sky, you'd probably be able to fit under my raised chin.
Unfortunately I need to focus my travelling budget to where my competitions are held and currently there's nothing planned for America, let alone Florida. As tempting as it would be to arrange a meeting with you, I won't go out of my way for it. I will not be swayed from my path of conquest. But who knows, maybe a tournament will crop up round your parts in the future. I'll be heading to Canada next year to compete so who knows. All that being said, I'll reciprocate your intent. If you ever do visit the UK, feel free to hit me up - I live in the outskirts of London which is a pretty good spot.
