I went to Chicagoland a few weeks ago... it was a good race... very competitive, and lots of side by side racing.

Paul was doing so awesome... running seventh! Then Jr. had to go and F*** things up and cut down Menards tire... F***ing Jr... he sucks soooo much... he needs to do something with his self... b/c racing isn't doing it...

anyhow, it was bitter sweet... especially since Paul wrecked, but Mark Martin won! ... and Kyle wrecked!

I've been to two races this year, and both have been won by Mark Martin!

Just wondering what you thought of the brickyard? I was there. Not to much action in my opinion. I was sitting just behind Montoya's pit stall. I was happy to see him get a speeding penalty. Of course I wanted Tony Stewart to win, but I would have much rather seen Mark Martin win before Jimmie Johnson... again. The field spread out quite a bit and I got a little bored when that happened. It was hard keeping track of who was where with all the traffic. I was afraid the tire issue was back when Kyle blew his tire, but when he was the only one, I was glad that it didn't turn into a bunch of competition yellows again. Anyway, just saying hello.

The race starts soonish! I really hope for a lot of action today, been fairly dry with all the rain, lol. Indy isn't to bad. Where I have been sitting only about half a mile is visible. But where the drivers have their meeting before the race, our seats are just in front of. I have several pictures that are close up of each driver. I will see if I can find some and get them up on my photobucket, I will pm you the links. Last year we also had Mark Martin's pit exactly in front of us. The first two years were great, last year wasn't the greatest. A caution every 15-20 laps to prevent cars from wrecking kept the competition down. I think quite a few people felt cheated in the end. How's Indy? I heard is wasn't that great...

mostly because you can't see the whole track... but even still... it's long and drawn out...

Not to mention the tire troubles... >shiver<

Yeah, the double file restarts will be interesting to watch...

for sure that's gonna be more competition...but it may become too wild... if that's possible ^_^

i appreciate good, hard racing... but still, i don't want to see anyone get hurt out there.

As for the lapped cars, it's not all that bad, the luckydog freepass will remain throughout the entire race... and with all the action up front, you'd figure there's gonna be more cautions...

Not to mention, if lapped cars don't pit when the leader does, they get waved around... doesn't sound that bad, right?

No, it will be interesting... we'll have to see how it goes...
