No, it's ok. It's not insulting, anyway, yes, I am a U.S citizen. And, uh, I never really researched the Midwestern USA. But yeah, *slaps self*
Anyway, about the mentor thingy... yeah.
Btw, this should be of some help if you really want to continue; there are other programs besides Limewire here: → http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/FILE_SHARING/ I don't know how useful it is, but just search for a File Sharing program like NeoNapster or something like that.
Nope, it's free. Works the same way, too. → http://www.limewire.com/download/ Click on get basic. Also, if you click here, → http://www.limewire.com/download/version.php it says Basic is free at the top. "Basic (Free)" Ok, now click on the platform you have, the download should come up. Press Run or whatever and continue from there. EDIT: I just realized they were the same links. T.T But, whatever, it's free. Also, when the "Get Limewire Pro" thing or whatever comes up, just click no.
1) Go to http://www.youtube.com/, sign in if you haven't already, click upload, fill in the requirements on step 1. On step 2, click the browse button, then go to "My videos," click on the Hypercam recorded video after you've fiddled with it w/ Windows Movie Maker, then wait for it to process.
2) Limewire - A Music programs and stuff. To make music (optional.) Free w/ the link I gave you. =/ Wait for it to go to 100%, then open it. Now, search for a song you like, as aforementioned. Click on the song, press the download button below, wait for it to go to 100%, play it if you like. Sometimes if you import, it will have an error. Or at least in my experience, anyway. Just download another version of it. BTW, I didn't mention, but don't search until it says "Turbo-Charged Connection" at the bottom. Hypercam - A recoding program. Why you need it - To record your battles on Shoddy Battle or whatnot. Free, w/ the link I gave you. It's downloading process - Just like above, open Shoddy Battle, do all that jazz, once you find a match, start up Hypercam and start recording. Once you're done, right-click on the tab window for Hypercam, click "Restore," then Stop recording. (F2, you can also press F2 to start recording.)
3) Unfortunately, I've never really been an expert on this stuff, nor know anything about it. =/ EDIT: I forgot to mention, Hypercam is a screen-recorder. =/
