There's a thing called the Power Law, which shows exactly what you said. It's also source of the 80-20 rule (20% of people consume 80% of the world's resources, etc.). The math is confusing, but you can use it in any practical application. For example, a small handful of Pokémon fangames are so well-done that they get almost all of the attention, and the vast majority of games receive close to no attention.
Real life issues--mainly school-related events--have been taking up most of my time lately. (And taking me to places without Internet access, which is why it took me four days to reply here.) What have you been up to?
