I finished Clannad this morning... :/ The last episodes were... Disheartening. My tissue box's empty now. It's one of the saddest animes for sure.

Well, I don't want to spoil anything, but yeah, be ready for the end of it...

Yeah it would make a lot more sense than having to fight the old champion again because somehow they magically took the title back... but we're talking about the same people who pretend that FR/LG never had a girl character, so I'm not expecting these changes to happen either. I mean, I'd like to become the champion and stay the champion, but that's apparently too hard a request.

Didn't enjoy it that much... just the typical bad guys with some weird plot that involves some random legendary that they end up not being able to control. They were kind of a low point for Pokemon games.

I'd like to see a plot that has more "normal" criminal elements instead of some "take over/change the world" ones. And they could have minigames like inspecting tax records and collecting evidence instead of useless stuff like the musicals and dream world xD

Anyway, apparently more relatives are coming up by our area - a family reunion on my mom's side, them my dad's brother a few days later. But why can't we have any relatives visit who are around my age? All of them are old :/

Still hot and boring around here with no air conditioning and nothing at all to do... I just wonder when I can finally get out of this situation...

BTW, the next chapter of my new story could be delayed a bit... have you been able to read any more of the "original" Lisa story?

Yeah. Oh, BTW, get out your tissues as you get toward the end of the second season... you'll need them xD Yeah, first season, IIRC dealt with several different character arcs while the second just dealt with the main relationship.

I actually brainstormed the idea that every time you went back to the Elite Four you faced a rotating selection of "challengers," trainers (perhaps taken from Victory Road) who want to take your title away so you have to beat them to defend it. That idea not only cements you as Champion, but it also means that a new challenge always awaits you at the end instead of the same old team.

I hope so... I don't need another Poekmon game that falls short of standards to further question my faith in the series.

That region somehow achieved the feat of being both boring and bizarre at the same time. I just can't picture myself struggling through it again. But hey, I'm used to having weird opinions on Pokemon related stuff... I like Leaf, after all, and I want to see a Pokemon game where the evil team's plot involves a Ponzi scheme fraud where they're scamming people xD

Yes actually it's getting better in the 2nd season, really. Sunohara is awesome x) And some 1st season episodes looked like fillers, not in that one.

You're crazy, RSE remakes are games that I want the most Hoenn was a great region ! And I loved the plot, with two evil teams and so on. The towns were brilliant.

All right, there isn't much action, but I still liked it as a nice, cute little show. And I think right now I have too many other series to watch any older ones. And I don't mind subs; it's that I'd rather buy a series once it's been released on DVD to support the creators, and the series box sets are still a bit expensive (I did watch both seasons before they were licensed in the US). Of course, I don't know if it's been licensed in Europe yet or not.

Well, it's because if you return to the Elite Four again, guess who's champion again? The person you just beat last time. It's like, "Wait, did you somehow beat me and reclaim the title while the ending credits were playing?"

Yeah, except the one I hate most, of course. And that's yet another thing that has me wondering why I'm still supporting this series. The good characters (like Leaf) never get any love :/ I have a feeling that if I do buy B2/W2 and it doesn't live up to expectations, then it'll probably be the last Pokemon game I buy. But I know for a fact that I'm not buying any remake of the Hoenn games... that region had way too much water and way too many of those creepy male swimmers in Spandex...

I don't think if Natsuiro Kiseki really is the kind of anime I like I need some action. But I'll try it anyway, one never know. I've seen the last episode of Clannad 1st season yesterday, it was good. But I hope the 2nd season will be better, and I've heard that it is. That sounds cool We actually have a vacation home we own on the coast, so that's always nice to go to - I actually think our vacation house is better than our main house xD Too bad we won't be back till after the new year :/ Things are pretty much the same for me... as I think they will be for awhile.

Of them, Natsuiro Kiseki would be my top recommendation if you can only see one. I've seen Clannad way back when. Great show, BTW. I'd like to watch it again except I can't get my hands on it...

Yeah, but it doesn't make sense when the CPU players have these supposedly one of a kind Pokemon xD IDK, I just like those types of battle places being part of the main game... they don't fit in with the story line and there's no sense of "completing" the game because it's an endless line of opponents. Then again the fact that your character never remains Champion doesn't help me feel as if I've completed the game either...

It's still completely ridiculous. She was created for the franchise, so her existence should still be acknowledged. I swear, it's always my favorite parts of the franchise that get ignored, while my least favorite aspects continue to be hyped up. It's a wonder I'm still a fan. Of course, I'm wondering why the Vs. Seeker is also getting the shaft...
