Are you talking about Blastoise and Dragonite being weak to Lorelei's Ice pokemon? I always found Lorelei somewhat tough, but Bruno and Agatha pretty easy to battle.

Yeah simple phones are nice. I get this crazy android, and only use certain features on it! I like the games a lot though.

Yeah at these family reunions, there isn't much to do either here. I just do not care for those people, and my dad's side doesn't care what I've been up to. They never talk to us...

Yeah I know the train has some sketchy people on there too, I mean public transportation is nice and all--but only when I'm visiting Chicago. I wouldn't take it everyday!
When I go to Chicago, I usually stay in my best friend's dorm. However, we have gone to a few Chicago Cubs games at Wrigley Field [which is an amazing place to be!]. We've also been up the Sears Tower--that was a load of fun; Lincoln Park Zoo, Giordano's [amazing Chicago Deep Dish pizza!], and many other places.

Yeah, so it definitely has some basis in reality... that is the team she used to become champion in my game in real life, so Only problem is that three of them are weak to Ice, but Lorelei is really the only one with a lot of ice to throw around. Actually, the game where I found it easiest to put together a really great team was XD Gale of Darkness.

I never liked the phone, even before cell phones were even heard of. I don't ever want to text - from what I understand, the grammar and spelling that people use when texting is horrible. Their English teachers would not be pleased I just need a phone with nice big buttons that dials out and receives calls. No voice mail, no text, no any of this other stuff. Simple is good after all xD

I don't think anyone will miss me either, considering that maybe five people will actually know who the heck I am and even they happen to be over 60. And there's literally nothing to do... all they ever do is sit around and talk about old people stuff that I don't care about, lol.

I've taken a train once before for a class trip in 8th grade... it was pretty nice More recently though, I've found myself taking the bus, and unfortunately all sorts of shady characters are on board those. The buses themselves aren't too bad now - some of them have wi-fi and electrical outlets, but the people are still just as creepy. And one time they left me stuck in Cleveland because of snow...

Actually, I've never been to Chicago besides a flight layover in O'Hare. What kinds of places did you go when you visited?

I didn't mind moving in early; it was getting there 6 hours early and sleeping in our already cramped and uncomfortable truck that I hated. Moving in early let me get my stuff in place, quickly get my computer up and running, then head out and enjoy my first day on campus, which, cheesy as it sounds, was a magical time for me xD

Well, I don't know much about cat breeds, but Gurl is a Russian Blue. Her fur is short, and she is still velvety soft! I know there are other cats that don't shed, but I do not know them at the top of my head, so you might have to do some research on that!

I don't mind talking on the phone. And I do occasionally text people. But I got an android, and I love playing games on it! My mom got the same one I did, and she loves it. She's becoming more tech savvy as far as phones go.

I actually don't drive to Chicago [I'd get lost!] I take the train instead, because it is easier and I don't have to worry about paying for parking! The train is a lot of fun to Chicago. Aww, that sounds adorable Any specific cats that you recommend for someone like me who has allergies and can't tolerate a lot of shedding, but still wants something fluffy? It could be awhile before I actually get one; depends on how soon I find work.

I know I enjoyed Leaf Green I probably played through it more times than any other Pokemon game. Last game my team was Blastoise, Persian, Electrode, Nidoking, Exeggutor, and Dragonite, which, naturally is also the team Leaf says she had in the story I need something to jump start my interest in the new sequel games, because after hearing that my (our, actually) least favorite person was going to show up, it's been hard to get excited about it. Even if the girl character is good looking this time around (still can't hold a candle to Leaf, but at least it's a step in the right direction xD).

I never liked talking on the phone, but now with cell phones it's worse since you can get a call anywhere. Before them, if you were say, in the car or in the store, you never had to put up with someone calling and disturbing you. Personally, I don't have a phone; for now I share the family's phone, and this thing is not user friendly at all - the buttons are tiny, the menu (why do phones have so many gadgets that they even need a menu?) is confusing, and even the ringing is annoying.

Well anyway, what are your drives to the big city like? I for one LOVE to be out on the open road - it's like my second home. Only problem is, ever since my parents caught on to the truck/SUV craze, our vehicles haven't been as comfortable - the seats in our Chevy truck are so hard and there's no rear seat legroom to speak of. This despite claims of it being a "full-size" truck. We even had to try to sleep in the thing on year when moving me into college because we arrived at the parking lot at 2:30 in the morning and move-in wasn't until 8:00 - talk about bad planning by my parents

Actually, I think I decided against going to this family reunion Sunday. It's not worth it to see a bunch of old folks I hardly know, and that's not even mentioning the fact that Fred, our family's resident drunkard, could show up. That guy creeps me out.

Well, I just don't think I could tolerate any show where I had to put up with someone that annoying (and that voice is awful, it doesn't even sound human) in just about every scene. And he ain't attractive, either. It's like torture every time I attempt to watch. Why can't they just get rid of him already? I recommend a mafia hit, lol

I actually find myself going back and using the same group of Pokemon because they're ones I'm comfortable with using. In fact, should I end up buying the new games, I already have my team planned and only one is a Pokemon I've never used before. I guess I just like sticking to what's familiar xD I don't think I could go back to the really old games, though... I don't want to play any game where I can't play as a girl, lol (unless it's Colo/XD because they were awesome).

Yeah, and she probably won't ever check the account again Now cell phones, those are something I'm clueless about using. Doesn't help that the buttons are too small for me to type in properly.

I have noticed our VMs have been getting shorter and shorter! I don't like that! Oh no! Well, I enjoyed the anime despite hating Ash. I just enjoyed it as a whole, and I made fun of Ash a lot when I would watch it haha.

Yeah, when I'd play my Red version, I always liked having a strong team too. And it always varied as to who my team was.

Oh moms....they are so silly when it comes to online/computer stuff! My mom needed a lot of help with iTunes! It was cute.

IDK, I find it hard to enjoy any show where the main character is such a jerk... it's why I stopped watching it after the first season and any time I've tried to give it another chance I'm reminded again of why I stopped watching it. Now if the show starred someone cool like Lisa...

Excellent. I wouldn't approve if you picked him. I catch most everything I run into, but I do plan in advance for my team of six that I'll take to the Elite Four. But yes, my starter is among those in my team of six, unless the starter really, really sucks (like in Yellow).

Well, hehe, I always liked the Pokemon cartoon. That is what fueled my love for Pokemon to be quite honest. Also, I did choose Leaf as my character. And when I play Pokemon, I just go along and catch whichever Pokemon. I usually try to get as much as I can! But when I fight the Elite Four, my starter has ALWAYS been a part of my team [because it is the strongest!]

Nothing going on here at my end. I'm just lounging around, damn, I lead such a boring life...!

So do I xD. I hate Red even more because he stole the spotlight from Leaf in HG/SS, something for which I can never forgive (and the basis for my story xD). Problem is, Gary/Blue/Rival (jeez, so many different names xD) wouldn't really fit into the storyline that well.
