They've been a lot of fun, I even went to one that was held on a historic naval ship Next one is a week from today, in fact.
I've watched play-throughs online, and didn't see much in the games that were appealing. Besides the region, I don't care for some of the character's designs, and not being able to dress your character up was a major disappointment.
Do you still have any good Pokemon in X/Y? It's really annoying that they didn't do an online update to make the two games compatible.
Thanks! The big party with everyone coming over is getting started so things are gonna get busy lol
I got mostly cash for Christmas which is fine with me - I need that money for conventions, and with my family it's hard to explain to them what anime is and where to look for it
oh that's awesome then :3 How have those been?
and I see. I think it's worth getting, even I wasn't a huge fan of the region but I ended up loving it. It's your choice though ~ and cool, well I haven't been on xy much but i'll let you know
And happy holidays to you as well! Hope you have a good one.
Hey, how have things been? I've been keeping busy with conventions mostly, and trying to save money for the next one lol. I know I'm not on here as often as I'd like.
I still play X/Y, but I was never a big fan of the Hoenn games so I don't think I'll be buying the remakes. If you still want to do something in X/Y let me know, but I'm out of town till the 29th for the holidays and can't get on wifi.
Oh, no problem Not much going on here, I'm just trying out my new Pokemon team and getting ready for the convention. You should totally try to get out to one if you can - they'e a lot of fun!
I'm just having an "issue" with my apartment management over certain things they've tried to do recently - one of which could have caused a serious allergic reaction:/ So, are things going well with you?
oh no o: where was that?
Ohh, yeah that makes sense. I know quite a few people there, and then again it's pretty cool to meet new people sometimes.
yeah same we just get rain +wind. it's scary sometimes O:
Yeah, for now... but apparently up where I used to live, they're getting hammered by bad snowstorms lately - so glad I moved from there
I thought about moving to Florida but realized I didn't know anybody in the area. Here, I do have a few contacts who I went to college with so I didn't feel like I was heading into some unknown place.
Usually if we get anything related to a hurricane, it's just the rain - the high winds usually die down a bit as the system moves inland. We'll still get warnings though Better safe than sorry, I guess?
it's some other stuff too but yeah the weather seems to have calmed down haha.
ah, I see. i've been to the gulf area, orlando, daytona, and tampa. so pretty much like the northern part. I really liked the gulf beaches though, sooo pretty <3 wish I could live there.
but that's good. I'm inland too, but sometimes we still get hurricane (?) warnings which is weird. it's usually just exaggerated D:
Yeah I'm not sure what's in the stuff besides just salt - apparently it's something to either help melt the stuff or lower the freezing point. I just know I'm glad I don't have to put up with it much now
I've actually never been that far south in Florida - one trip was to Panama City Beach and the other was to Gainesville. It's kinda risky to own any sort of property there, although my parents own property on the South Carolina coast and there hasn't been a hurricane there since 1989...
As for me, I live pretty far inland, so I'm relatively safe lol
I feel like around here they overdo it with the salt. it's kind of gross because apparently that goes into our water eventually and it has certain chemicals or something and bleh. Yeah, and plus in florida they have hurricanes so it's kind of risky >.<
... and today temps were in the mid-60's. Go figure At least the snow's gone.
I just thought of another thing: I used to live in a northern state, one that has all the snow equipment. All the road salt they use cause cars to rust out at an alarming rate. It's so refreshing to see that down here, every other car doesn't have rust eating away at the fenders. I've been to Florida a couple of times, I think it'd be an awesome place to live during the winter months - might be a bit hot during the summer lol
