    Hehe, the SATs. It's not really "entrance exams", but it affects what the college thinks of you. I've still got one more year of high school left and I'm taking these tests so I have the score when I start sending out applications.

    My friends don't. "Wow, that looks really cool!" dA just really isn't the greatest place for crit, but more for a social network.
    If you start doing scratches of anything, art-wise, or making game sprites I know a place for really good crit. If you can handle it that is.

    Meh. My friends give reasonable crit, though you maybe right. College huh? My mom's a college prof.

    DA isn't better, in fact it's worse. Only my friends comment with no crit, and most of the time they don't even do that.

    And even then if you do get fans, they are usually fans because they like a specific type of work and won't comment when you do something new.

    It is a shame he closed it. If you look in mine I had to triple post between my updates because no one would even throw a non-crit comment. But that's because less people touch pixel art.
