I'm uploading a video of it now. It's not that impressive, but basically I did it from a cinematic POV, in that you don't actually control the player throughout the course of that event. Then, I just hide the player's sprite and show another overworld, who mimics everything the player does. :D
Turns out I can do most of the graphical side (bar... Well, one slight hiccup on the titlescreen, involving Ruby's use of the moving bubble things and accidently inserting my own weirdly, but it also doesn't seem that bad oddly), but scripting is my weakness, heh.
Worse comes to worse, the event doesn't get added, yet that shouldn't matter too much if the rest is brilliant (like I expect from you. No pressure)
I'd say inspiring is a tad too overkill, but thanks. :D I just need to work out how to change the player's overworld for a small segment of this event, but I might have to cheat and just make the parts where it's different non-playable.
