I actually found a solution
Hex Editor works great! Lots of Fs=Lots of Space
Anyway, I was curious...is there any way you could TEACH me how to script? I really like your scripting and I don't learn much from reading. I learn from direct learning. For example, you give me something to do, I do it, you see. Would that work for you? I really need a teacher...and you could easily be the one. So could you? If not, its fine, but I could really use the help. But yeah, now I"m using Hex Editor, so I'll assume that it'll work.
It's an awesome game! So well scripted
By the way, I found potential problem one. I'm using a hex editor to find space now, since FSF hates me xD Wrong offset
Anyway, you wrote a good tutorial!
Here's basically what it is...see if you can tell me the basics.
I took the give pokemon script in your tutorial, altered it to my preferences.
Basically, here's what I did. I"m remaking the manga now. This is a recieve Poliwhirl script, since I deem it necessary to battle...
Anyway, when I use the mom as the base (I'm adding some stuff for clarity ) But she won't accept it. And when I get one, it won't compile. Any suggestions? How much memory am I going to need? I intend to use lines that are all Fs in hex editor, which are free space, but should it work? I used your script as a base perfectly, not leaving any room for doubt. Literally, copy, paste, alter, change offset, done. Any ideas?
