June 25th, 2009 09:41 AMArtemisWebcam! Lol...
Mudkips, I don't think I fully understand, lol, what do you mean?
How did someone come up with the name Cancer Pichu for the Gizamimi Pichu in the first place? It strikes me as odd because of the cropped ear, but nevertheless it is still a cute look, wouldn't you think? Though, the move Pain Split, I guess ti makes sense when you look at it that way.
June 25th, 2009 04:59 AMbobandbillIndeed we do. First though we'd have to figure out how to do such a thing over the internet...
Hurrah for a great variety of conversations. Although oddly enough mudkips have not yet cropped up. Oh wait
That's probably the most likely reason to it, I would think - but it still strikes me as crazy-odd. XD I mean... having cancer on your ear allows you to do that move? What?
June 24th, 2009 05:06 AMArtemisHa Ha, yes maybe we can test it someone here on PC perhaps?
Lol, hmm...Yeah you know I don't even remember what we were talking about at that time. Though, we have a lot of different topics in this one discussion, don't we, lol?
I know Pain Split came as a really large surprise. Usually, when Pokémon thinks up of some new exclusive moves now a days, they usually center it around the whole competitive battling theme [or so I think it is]. For exmaple, the Pikachu Colored Pichu, it is a Jolly nature and knows Volt Tackle as well, I think. This is perfect for Wi-Fi because Jolly is used for speed when you have a Pokémon that attacks phycially. So, Pain Split came as a surprise, but I think I know of a way it might work for competitive play. Do you?
June 23rd, 2009 11:56 PMbobandbillHmm... an interesting thought, that. Who shall we test this idea on, then? After all, it's for science!
...from the sounds of it, you're still confused. =P
It's kinda neat that Game Freak kept/keep on reusing some stuff from an old game they made before in Pokemon. And Volt Tackle is a nice move (especially in Brawl XD), although I don't have too much interest for what I have dubbed the 'Cancer Pichu'. It's interesting, but...meh. Not unexpected from me that it knows that - but Pain Split? XD
June 23rd, 2009 08:30 AMArtemisI wonder how it feels not to have a nose?
Hmm, I don't think I've hurt myself as yet, but I will find a way to break through your confusion! Onomanopeia! lol
I just looked it up, strangely enough I never even knew about it. Though, it does seem like GameFreak would reuse things for their games coming from another. The anime for it does that too. You've got to admit though, Volt Tackle is a pretty cool move and I'm glad the Gizamimi Pichi knows it [I expected it though] you?
June 22nd, 2009 09:25 PMbobandbillIt shaln't. >:D
Of course not. Chopping off my nose is a bad idea. -_-
Yay for confusion. Now my plan is in motion. Soon enough... you will HURT YOURSELF IN YOUR CONFUSION! (Maybe).
GameFreak used to have a series called 'Pulseman', I beieve... and not much else, really. Interestingly though, Pulseman stuff regularly appears in the Pokemon games! For instance, Volt Tackle is inspired from it... and D/P/Pt's rival's music? Redone version of Pulseman music, apparently.
June 22nd, 2009 09:15 AMArtemisHa Ha, hopefully it won't be leaked XD.
Lol, I don't think chopping off your nose will be a good idea. People might accuse you of following the path of Micheal Jackson, especially when you have to go and get your nose done afterwards.
Wait, now I'm jsut confused...I thought I knew you didn't run over one.
Yeah, the games just whether it be a remake, or a third game to the first two, people still end up buying it. Do you know how many people insisted they would not buy Platinum because it looked the same, and it still earned a lot of sales within the first few days? It is insane, but what other games does GameFreak work on besides Pokémon?
June 22nd, 2009 06:14 AMbobandbill...Nah - I can always deny everything. =) Or edit stuff, I suppose. =P
Alcohol tends to have a strong smell to it, yes. Ah well. It doesn't matter, I suppose, if you chop your nose off, or something...
Haven't run over anybody yet, I mean. =P
I suppose it's because it still convinces us to buy more. More. MORE! That and there are always new fans coming in all the time. That, and there aare the various non-Game-Freak-made Pokemon games as well (but so far they have not been as successful as Game Freak have been, so far, and it's not that surprising either).
June 22nd, 2009 04:27 AMArtemisHa Ha, wouldn't this mean you are busted!?
I wouldn't have expected you to hit anyone, that was just a joke -shot- Meh, I guess even when you dislike it, we can still be excite for it. However, before I drink something and if it has even a touch of alcohol I can smell it. O_O
What, "yet" what? lol
You know it actually is really surprising that even though the games repeat themselves, it somehow still catches the fans attention and we can still play it over and over again [like a million times]. Even though many people have their complaints they can still play it and enjoy it no matter what, so it is really a strange thought on how Game Freak actually catches us every time.
June 21st, 2009 11:18 PMbobandbillBut it's on the internet already. =(
I dislike alcohol, I mean. (And yes, I'm excited over that. Matter of principle =P). Driving is ok, better when it means I can go to a friends place or something like that. And I haven't actually hit ayone.
As long as Pokemon games keep selling (and each new gen it's essentially the same thing in a new region, new prof-named-after-tree, new evil team, new gym leagers and elite four... well, stuff tends to repeat itself for millions of sales each time around. XD). I doubt that will change too much, considering it still works very, very well.
June 21st, 2009 11:40 AMArtemisLol, well maybe you can keep it as your littl secret, ha ha.
Oh my gosh, I don't think I want to be on the streets with you driving, I might get run over. Wait you dislike it, but you're still excited to be age elgible for it? O_o
Probably, but we'll never know...Actually, I don't even know if I'll know you by the time you have grandchildren, lol.
Yeah, hopefully Pokémon will keep coming up with great ideas to keep their money flowing. This way they'll keep on running, however as they go on, will their new Pokémon be well designed or become worse is the big question. Also, will fans continue to enjoy the same plot of the game or will they learn to make new twists for the metagame and all...
June 20th, 2009 05:35 PMbobandbill...Of course!...Somehow. =P
I dislike the taste as well, actually... but yay for not having to wait 3 years longer anyways. Also yay for already aving the ability to run people over unsupervised. =D
Probably not. XD
Hmm...I'd say it's less likely that it'd be running if the Pokemon franchise died... activity would dwindle to a stop, possibly. So in that case... LONG LIVE POKEMON!
June 20th, 2009 10:54 AMArtemisIs something wrong with that, lol?
I hate the taste of beer, and root beer too however drinking age for the States are 21, so you'e lucky you don't have to wait that long. I'm actually in the midst of learning to drive right now. I was able to earn my license like a year ago, but I slacked on studying for everything.
LOL! I would love to see PC up and active after so many years and your grandchildren being active there. Hmm, would they think of you as a legend for being a mod there?
That is true, and if it ends then PC might still be kept running for memories of the franchise and all. Though, it wouldn't be as exciting because new information on the latest things wouldn't be brought up like they do now, you know?
June 19th, 2009 09:32 PMbobandbillI am?
I see. Well, it's a while off, I can tell you. =P And huzzah for being able to drink BEER then. XD I already can drive a car though (huzzah for Australian laws on that, if not the silly restrictions).
*imagines himself telling stories to grandchildren* Now, sonny-Jim, that's not how you act on forums! Back in my day I used to be a mod on this very forum, let me tell you! Ah, those were the days, without any of them hover-cars or talking pineapples...
I'd say it just might actually - leastways, if Pokemon lasts that long. Which isn't too unlikely given how strong it is still, after all those years thus far. If it sells, it sells, and will continue to be made.
June 19th, 2009 09:05 PMArtemisLol, I can totally tell, but actually you are.
Oh, this surprise is awesome, but wait! November 6th? I totally read that wrong as I thought you meant it would be in a few days, [/lol]. Oh well, you'll have to remind me again when time draws closer, because the surprise is...Hmm, should I tell you? Hey, you're 17 like me *o* Except, you're older by less than a year as next year in May I'll turn 18. Wow, adulthood huh?
So, writing found your way here...That would make a pleasent story for your grandchildren. Would you think PC would last that long?
