I see. Now that is a long running problem! :V Maybe we need a time machine then.

If you want to hammer out more details for the planning btw then just post/shoot a PM. Whenever suits you.

Why is there a GIANT SALE around July for two weeks, btw?

    >:(

I was looking through Mr Cat Dog's threads for that other thread, and I found out that even back in 2004, FF&W (or whatever is was then) had a problem with people posting lacking reviews. So we're trying to solve a problem that has been around for nine years.

I found that hilarious and it made me feel better about myself.

    Edit:

You never did share that source of hilarity. I am not amused. =(

That could also work. No complaints with going in that direction.

Aw, bribing with hilarity, eh? =p But replied. Also talked with Audy on irc about it. I like the idea! I imagine it'd be a while away but... promising.

How about instead of drabbles and their limiting word count, we just do flash fiction? Those are short, but there's no limit on word count where the writer can't go over or under. And given the wars I've seen over the definitions of "drabble", perhaps we should play it more on the safer side.

I had some hilarity to share about something I found, but I think first I should poke you about checking out Audy's post in the "Liking in place of reviews" thread. I can't formulate thoughts on it yet because it's the weekend when I'm more tired, but I'll poke you so you can check out what he suggested.

I am glad to know you too. =)

On a less sappy note - idea for fics; maybe a drabble challenge? Quick and easy for everyone. Someone gives a theme, person has to write 100 words using it. They then give a theme, etc.

Yes, it's like the CYOA. But a more manageable form? Hmm. Alt - drabbles used for weekly theme contests ala POTW. Maybe Poem OTW is worth bring back too given that section is still bleh.

I'm staying up tonight to do things can you tell =D

I tried a blog entry a while back, but that didn't seem to work too well despite all the views it got. =/ An announcement might help?

Maybe using this could be possible? http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=300823 Or maybe for some other idea.

Should we perhaps advertise the CYOA outside of FF&W?
