I played some Sims2 myself ages back. Think I still have the disc too but too many other games to play as it is for me.

Sounds like a bad work day for that Sim, haha.

What Pokemon game/s are you through atm? And indeed - talking about Pokemon on a Pokemon forum. What wacky idea will you come up with next!?

Haha, that's okay. I take it that is a question then! =p Anyways, overall things are fine. Had a particularly nasty assignment recently which nobody liked, and nasty in part because the lecturer isn't very good. =( Oh well, two out of three isn't bad? Meanwhile my project for the year is going steadily.

Also have taken up tutoring physics workshops for 1st year students this year. It's only one hour a week as that seems to be as much as they trust honours students with tutoring (and I don't have one this week because there's a strike at the uni! ) but the pay is quite nice! =)

Haha, I'll admit that I'm not that cruel of a Sim player. I used to be in the Sims 1, but with the Sims 2 and way more control over creating/playing Sims, I'm a nice Sim god. I even download hacks and play with aging so it takes forever for my Sims to get old, never mind die. Though some of my Sims are stupid enough that they'd off themselves if given the chance. (One came home from work, saw a fire, and ran into it.)

Perhaps my computer just hates how many pictures I take of my Sims. ;)

At any rate, I have my Windows 8 hard drive in my computer again, so I'm semi-back to normal. Still can't play the Sims 2, but I've lived without them for several months. I can handle it until I figure out how to solve this problem. Besides, this gives me plenty of time to play through Pokemon games so I actually can discuss things on this forum! Novel concept, isn't it?

And I realize that I rambled on about my Sims again without ever asking you how things are going for you. How rude.

Perhaps, but of what? Maybe it's revenge from all those dead Sims characters!! :O

Two times now I've killed a computer in an attempt to play the Sims 2. Do you think this is a sign?

That is quite the reaction to Sims 2. ._. What's the death count for the computer now?

At least there's a plus side of late I suppose? Sounds useful.

Guess what! I broke my computer again! I guess when they say that a game isn't compatible with Windows 8, it's the truth. Last night, when I was playing the Sims 2, my whole system crashed. So now I have to fix that all over again.

On the plus side, I found some advice for reviewing that will help with some of the problems brought up in the review discussion. How people think that they have to do a beta-style review with all the technical stuff, and that scares people away from reviewing? Yeah, I found some guide to help with that. I'll spend some time rewriting it and working it out for PC and then post it when my computer's back in business. (Right now, I'm using my tablet, which is okay, if it wasn't for my cat who decides to sit on the keyboard I have for it.)

I guess it doesn't help it's only a letter away and a looks like o at a quick glance. Oh well, Pulseman is cool too!

But no, the bbs is still distinctly Pokemon! I need to finally finish off an article for the magazine though.

I keep reading "Pulsemon" as "Pulseman" and wondering just when the BBS switched from one Game Freak game forum to another.

It was overall quite fun! Much was done and seen, and now I have a lot of Pokemon plushies as well. XD Weather was mostly fine to us, rained on a day we were just moving hotels anyway and snowed once as well which didn't get in the way too much (and amused my friends... I knew snow already pretty well from before though, but it was neat to see again). Tokyo is very crowded at times (the trains especially, but main is their system efficient compared to the rubbish we have here!) and they have a lot of vending machines everywhere. Also good food. =)

Also maybe we ought to run some ideas with game-style threads for fics? (Probably in the writer's longue, but up to you). Seems the story-with-commands deal is going well thus far which is nice. =)

    How was the trip?

    I know what a yowie is, don't worry. That's a thing I haven't heard in years though...

Hardly any snow here in Australia! Have to be in the mountains or on a (large) island-state in winter or cold days for that to happen. So at least that's an advantage of here?

We're going to various, but I don't recall that name. We are however going to Pokemon Centres in Tokyo and Osaka! And leave with light wallets I bet.

Allergic to mangoes? D= Dang, what rotten luck. We have lots of other fruits though...? Food stuff here is expensive compared to other countries though. =/

You should catch up on it then! It has remained entertaining. And Miror B was a great gift, haha. Day off is not too bad I suppose, and I don't mind the concept of not waiting with opening presents as well, heh.

Ooh, I think I heard about that vaguely? Oh well about saving money then. (Especially for myself. Trips to Japan doesn't sit that well with it, haha).

Aw, all those poor yowies must have melted in their fur coats. :C (Please tell me that you might have heard of a yowie, and I don't just sound more insane than what you're used to.)

I was just outside for like ten minutes and my fingers were turning purple because it's really cold and windy where I am. I'm hoping that it would be warmer, at least enough for me to be comfortable outside, but no. It's merely going to snow.

Are there any particular districts that you're heading to in Tokyo? One of my fanfics takes place in Odaiba. Besides, that's also where Palette Town is! Now you have to go! Get a Pokemon!

My friend calls mangoes the "devil's fruit" because she's deathly allergic to them. Not helping your cause. :p

!! Awkward Zombie! I haven't read that webcomic in ages. And Miror B.! Now you can snuggle with him. :3 Also, the only thing I got for Giftmas is a day off from work. My family doesn't wait for present-opening. We buy what we want and play with it as soon as we step out the store.

I do know that 2013 will be the big year for me spending a lot of money. Guess what's going to be a movie~ A movie based on the prequel to my favorite book that I haven't talked to anyone about in ages~ It has a calendar~ To go with my mousepad that I don't have a picture of~

I was planning on saving money this year, too.

It has been a few years in fact before this year that we had a summer with a really hot day actually. Highest we got for the last few were mid-30s days. Which may be a lot anyways but not for us. =p

Heat waves and ice cream and beaches in evening helps with heat waves though.

Going to stay in Tokyo and Osaka, and travel about the place from those cities. I'm going for fun with a bunch of friends for a bit under two weeks.

Yeah, but Australia has in season mangoes atm. =p

ALSO I am going to make you jealous of my (rather late) birthday present. Also a handmade present I got for Christmas.

Oh yeah, Australia was pretty much the land of fire for a while there. I should have asked if anyone where I am would have moved down there. It was freezing up here for a while, but it's starting to warm up. The snow we got is starting to melt too. I'll miss winter. But I'm glad that you're not melting as much anymore.

    Yay weather talk.

Somehow, I forgot that you were going to Japan! Where about are you heading to? Like are you going to just explore all the various locations, or a particular city? Are you going there just for fun, or is it something for uni? (Ick to another year of that, by the way. Especially Honours. Good luck and all that with the new year!)

Between selling your soul and nearly melting, I'm beginning to wonder about Australia.

Alright, now less melty recently, thank goodness. I get to go sign my soul to uni for another year this Friday too as I can do Honours, and I'm nearing the date of departure for my trip to Japan. ~
