    Mountains are a number of hours drive away however. The beach however is not!

    Also Australia is far bigger than Florida so it's kinda cheating there. =p

    I was right, your winters are about the same as mine. You're lucky to have a mountains though. Here in Florida we just have a lot of sand, flat or hilly lands, and more sand!

    Eh, in most parts not that cold; very rarely ever below 0 degrees C where I live. You can get snow, but only in Tasmania and the mountains we have. Which are small compared to other countries' mountains too. =p

    How cold is a winter in Australia? For some reason, I always picture a summer-like Winter season for you guys. Sort of like here in Florida.
