It's really ambitious. When I first came up with the idea, I thought it was only going to be a few chapters. I was wrong, very wrong. I'm looking forward to your fic because they always make me laugh.

    Umm... yeah.

Alright, I'll pop on over and provide some feedback. I'm just happy I actually thought of something, since that's definitely not something I'm good at. Thanks for the feedback. Well, I haven't read it yet, so it could be good or bad, so... thanks in advance, and I hope it's good, haha.

    Haha, okay.

    Indeed. Here's hoping!

Good luck with the planning. That sounds pretty ambitious with the length! Don't rush it. Mine is another Pokemon fic, going to be a slice-of-life style one.

I assume you mean content over contempt. ;p

And don't worry too much about making an article asap, comments on the existing ideas helps too for instance. Or finding a fanwork for the seel/dewgong line too, that needs starting. I posted feedback to your thread at any rate.

Just don't ask me to make anything.

Sweet! Hopefully the Story of the Week will still be going on, and that can attract even more attention. I'm currently in the planning stage, and unlike Alien Poverty, I'm taking my time with it. I'm thinking of every detail and making sure I'm happy with it. I'm stuck at a particularly boring section, and how not to make it boring, as well as figuring out how every day life works in this society I've created. With the planning I've done so far, it looks like it's going to be two books, with the first one alone being considerably longer than the entirety of Alien Poverty. It should be a good read, though, if you like light sci-fi distopias. What's yours like?

I did want to go to France someday, but then I took French, and now I'm contempt with staying here, haha.

Yay for picking up new skills!

Fair enough then, that cuts mine out, haha. But I'll hopefully have a fic out within a few months! It's a biggie. On that note, how is your writing going?

Yeah, I'm not so crazy because Australia, man. We're far away from a lot. :< If I have a uni trip to europe I'd likely take time off to explore some of it though!

Yay! I'm so good at this, haha.

Ooh, that's a good question. With the increased traffic these stories should be getting, I think the only ones that should be featured are ones that are still in the two month period, so old thread don't get revived. Ones in the fic archive count, as long as they're within the two month revival rule.

It's crazy the amount of countries other people have been to. Then again, America is pretty big, and many Europeans take day trips over to other countries, so...

Looks good now, and the other one is fine as well! *thumbs up*

By that, I mean would ones not updated for months (or finished months ago), still count, even including those in the fic archive?

I've been to Poland a bunch of times because of family there. Not been for some years though. Also spent a day in Amsterdam on the way back last I was there. Other countries I've been to are New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.

I think I fixed that, and I created a splash for the Writer's Lounge as well. I can now edit code to suit my needs, haha.

What do you mean by "recent"? I posted an announcement that tried to clarify a few things, so maybe it's answered in there. If you've already read that and said that to me because I didn't cover it, then disregard that previous sentence.

Wow, you've been all over the world, then! Beats me by a long shot. I've only been to Mexico and Canada, but to be fair, I've lived all over the country, so that counts for something. Some people around here have never even taken a foot out of Washington state.

*looks* Looks nice! Only nitpick is that there's a text overflow for the story of the week section to the right - it's going out of the orange square ('..and link' part, first line of that text).

On that note, hum, story of the week. Hopefully that shall help! Question - would there be a cut to how 'recent' the story is to be submitted? If not I'd submit suggestions. ;p And are we also going to do that thing dave mentioned in *that* thread?

I have visited America, but that was many years ago (maybe 15+?) Went to disneyland and etc for a few days before going to Poland then. So it'd be neat to see even if it's mostly to be at a conference and little else.

Uluru would also be neat to talk to people about astronomy and what it is, and probably also get a better idea of what people know about it.

I think I did it! It took my way longer than it should have, but head on over and check it out! I'm also bringing back Story of the Week in hopes that it will be more successful this time around.

Sure, you can say all of them! Have you visited America before? I've heard it's a bit similar, but the food is different than Australia. Conferences are so much fun. I wish we would have a writing one around here. We definitely have the location for it. Uluru sounds like it would be really cool. I always like looking up at the night sky while camping, so hopefully the sky will be crystal clear for that.

Well, if you're still having trouble and know what you generally want it to look like, let me know and I'll have a go. Haven't actually poked around at those outlines yet so would need to check those out first.

Uh... can I say all of them? XD America will be neat because first uni-related overseas trip, and will meet with a whole bunch of people in the same field or research as myself/my project team. Perth are will be neat because that's the annual astronomical society of australia conference which goes for a week, which I went to last year (it was in sydney so no real great trip). Just before that is a winter school for students as well for a few days which I hope to go to this year as well. And uluru will be neat because it's in the middle of nowhere, and that means a fantastic night sky. Also giant rock. :V Meanwhile people who've done that trip have all said good things about it, so!
