I haven't read One Piece in a while, or watched the anime. I really need to remedy that at some point because it's pretty much the longest I've ever watched a single show. Right now I'm mostly trying to focus on current shows since it's been ages since I've kept up with more than a show or two a season.
And, yeah! Same team as TTGL. Both the writer and director are pretty popular for the sort of messages they send in their shows. I know TTGL aired during mornings, at 10 AM or so I think on the weekends, so it's an interesting way of getting kids into shows that have a little more depth to them than you would expect of something aimed at kids. The writer's pretty much why I stuck with the show though, I was really bored by the previews but totally blown away by that first episode.
And I agree with your post in the thread. As shallow as TTGL looks, I've seen people analyze and come up with some amazing stuff that might've been subtly hidden beneath all the craziness of the plot. And its the same team, right? So I do believe they're doing all of it for a reason. I wasn't sure till episode 3 but satsuki's dialogue just sealed the deal for me. Show ain't as stupid as people call it.
Oh, so you watch KlK too? Nice to see some moar fans here. :p Definitely one of the funniest shows I've seen. Up there with Gintama when it is at its funniest. Oh, and I remember you saying that you follow One Piece too? Do you read the manga as well or are anime only watcher?
I'm glad it brought a smile to your face, Jorge. I felt really happy when I read this VM. And haha, Christina being one of my closest friends here, it'd be just natural I'd go an extra mile to see her happy. :]
Haha, and I thought you made that one. XD; Christina once told me you're one amazing graphic artist yourself. Or did she said you were awesome at icons? Aaahh, I'm not really sure. But yeah, its because of whatever she said, I assumed you were the one who made that. XD;
