    I basically check what buttons were pressed on the gameboy gamepad, and use that to caculate what movement data to use, and will use parts of the collision checker script from the guy on cycling road to make sure the apply movement doesn't go when I walk into a wall. I've got most of the script written (I'm 90 percent sure it will work) up and will test it out tomorow. I'll send you the script tomorow if you want (and if it works), and maybe we could make a little Christmas present for the rest of the community.

    It used a combination of scripts and ASM hacks. If you can find a way to do it solely with scripts, I'd love to see your implementation.

    Did you use ASM to do your "follow me" script? Because I think I can make one that works perfectly with no asm involved, if I find a way to get jump ledges to work.

    I may understand what hacking is, but I don't know how to do it. I think that when it gets right down to it that's what the average joe thinks of as a hackers, and since the meaning of a word is what people think of and use it as, my answer is kind of obvious. also too many other people took the easy way out by saying "a waste of time" for me to say that.

    Hey there. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your response in my "What does ROM Hacking mean to you?" thread. It was a very accurate and thoughtful post and it's nice to see another person out there who really understands what hacking is all about. :)
