Hi there, regarding that thread you posted about Event scripting- you should have a look at this tutorial:

I'm aware you said you already looked at tutorials, but you should definitely find what you're looking for in this thread. You may also want to look at the 'Level Scripting Tutorial', found here.

If you are writing a script and find it doesn't work properly in-game, you can post it here and someone should be able to help you out. :)

Helps to, you know, read forum descriptions before posting. Game development has nothing to do with ROM Hacking what so ever, you want to go to the emulation section.
