...Greetings, fellow travellers.
I’m going to start Part Two of my Road to Redemption series with a bit of a lament. You see, there’s no feeling worse – no frustration more pronounced - than writing something you’re really proud of, only to find out that it can never see the light of day.
I had this blog entry written exactly a week to the day after my last one. I wrote the draft, went over it and over it with a fine toothed comb, changing wordings and

As most of you will know, six months ago I was fired as moderator of General Chat, which we now call The Treehouse because that’s a much more suitable name for a place where we discuss cannibalism, the meds we’re taking and the details of losing our virginity. I knew you'd all be dying to know what happened next: was the perpetrator brought to justice? Did I ever receive my badge of honour? Was there a statue erected in my name?...
So I went back to the mall yesterday in hope of finding the answers to all three of those questions...

I am of the belief that it is imperative to give back to your local community because in the end, when the chips are down, it's the people closest to you who will rally around and support you in your time of need - and when that happens, you're going to want them to want to be there. I am also, however, the first to admit that I've been a little lax in my efforts to benefit my local kin of late (and by 'of late', I mean for the past twenty-one years). Not once have I helped a doddery old lady cross...
YAY I GOT QUOTED, like...
