Yeah, I mained him in Brawl as well. I would play with him, Jiggly and MK a lot (he was OP). I don't know why I liked Ike so much tbh, he was slow but he was also really powerful. I thought that he was even better in Smash 4 and I use him when playing competitively.

Yeah, I may play one in the summer, I heard that the games take a long time to beat. I also heard that a new one is coming out this year, though I'm not sure if it will be for the 3DS or Wii U. However, it's exciting. :3

Ah okay, that's a series I haven't played. I thought of playing it on 3DS but never got the game. I heard it's really good though. I like playing as the Fire Emblem characters in Smash Bros., my main character is ike.

I'm doing well, just on here since I have some time between classes but besides that don't have much planned today besides studying later and maybe going outside and playing frisbee or softball or something since the weather is so dang nice here for this time of year.

Jw what anime is that person from in your avatar?

LOL; now I think I know (via firsthand experience) how other people that I quote feel like when I edit my own posts - I got 5 notifications (due to you quoting me) pertaining to this post of yours. No problems, though; still a nice post!
I got startled when I saw "fangirl brigade" listed like 5 times and I was like "Huh? I never talked about any fangirl brigade"; then I realized you were referring to Wallace and Juan's basement full of women. XD Indeed; Wallace and Juan are so suave with the ladies.. I hope the girls there aren't too chilly, though, what with all of the ice on the walls!

I won't deny it's interesting... but... I don't know. I'm also watching Chihaya Furu (and I did rewatch Hakuouki) and compared to those anime I've found it to be rather boring? It's not the right word, but it's not really exciting either. |D; But still, I'm definitally going to finish it, because I want to know how it ends. |D

    The animation quality and art quality is indeed pretty good. At least it seems this animation study had more budget than Hakuouki's. |D;

Exactly! I think it's great that fictional work can inspire an interest in the real world counterpart, even if that part is not part of your own history.
That reminds me, in Kamisama Hajimemashi'ta, the main character is studying world history and seems to be doing so in great detail (considering what she mentions about the Dutch independence). I remember the part about Japan (very short explanation about how Shogunate Japan transitioned into Empire Japan) in my history course being about 10 lines long. Needless to say that series like Hakuouki tell more than those 10 lines. |D

And I see you started watching/playing Amnesia? (Judging by your Orion avatar, at least).

(Don't mind the ' in hajimemashi'ta, PC's autocensoring wold turn it into hajimema****a otherwise |D)

That's more than right! I'm glad historical fiction can tell stories about a part of history you'd gladly skip in the books. Although it's not always 100% accurate, you still get to know something.

The anime does an alright job in following the game, so inevitably they cover all the events as well. Chizuru often serves as the narrator do give some background information, but I admit it can get a bit confusing with all the terms. But yes, it is quite an interesting part of history. Even though I don't know the entire background of the Tokugawa era or the Meiji era, I still think it's quite interesting. And watching/reading/gaming is a very nice way of learning about it. (at least better than reading dry history books |D)

I think very critically of Pokémon games. That is to say, I enjoy each one very much; even the ones I think of as "the worst," I still find to be leagues above most other games in terms of quality. But two things cause me to play Pokémon with a critical eye: one is, as an aspiring game designer--while I did graduate from a certain college with a background in this field, I'm not claiming to be a genius by any means--I generally view games critically in order to formulate what would work...

I was looking through my old deviantArt journals when I came across this one I had written on December 19, 2011. I thought I would repost it here since it's Pokémon-related (and I'm cleaning up my dA page):

The official Pokémon website always has full English episodes of the Pokémon anime available for viewing by anyone, but they rotate the available episodes at any given time. At the moment they have some of the first Orange Islands episodes available under...

The worldwide announcement will be made tomorrow at 6am in my timezone. That's RIGHT before I go to class.

I'm all sorts of spazzing right now. I really hope that this presentation won't let me down! After having so many announcements hyped but then leading to only simple Wi-Fi events or the like, I'm really, really, really hoping that I won't be disappointed by this!

This blog entry is my take on the Pokémon world's government in the main series of Pokémon games.

All the regions we have visited thus far fall under one National PokéDex, which would mean that they are all one giant nation despite their distance from each other. To have such a huge country raises other questions: namely, how large is the "Pokémon planet," and how many other nations are there?

One option is that all regions are controlled by one nation,...

The nature of gen1ers to be ignorant, hypocritical, and downright irritating is one that is disliked by Pokémon fans around the globe. But what makes gen1ers the most annoying, to me, is their arguments. And it's not so much that their arguments are weak and full of holes, but that in order to counter their argument, you'd have to make it seem like you're against gen 1.

Muk and Voltorb are always bearing the brunt of anti-gen1er arguments, but that doesn't necessarily mean they...
