  • You don't understand it. We're talking about two completely different things - making remakes and making games in the same generation. I said that glitch fixes in JP Blue are important but only in case of technically importing them into FR/LG, proving that remakes are technically based on third versions.

Bill's update is completely different thing. It's just small design change introduced in FR/LG and transferred to Emerald. It doesn't really prove that Emerald and FR/LG are in the same timeline because it's not said at any point of Emerald's storyline that Bill is making that update right now. It's done from the beginning of Emerald, so it was done before Emerald's storyline. Remember that if R/S remakes will be released, they will have PC design similar to that from B/W, making Bill's design not existing in Hoenn anymore. Bill's PC update is just minor thing which exists only in 3 gen.

I'd say that HG/SS are based on Crystal with some differences mixed from Gold and Silver. Those differences are Lugia/Ho-oh encounters before League. Suicune is ignored before League only because it's not mascot of HG or SS, but everything else is like in Crystal because we see Suicune more times during storyline than Lugia/Ho-oh. Suicune plays bigger role, even if it's ignored before League.

Look at this in this way - if Ruby and Sapphire will be remade, what their story would be? Most likely Weather Crisis with all three Weather legendaries will be included, which is story based on Emerald. Ruby's and Sapphire's additions would be encounter with Groudon or Kyogre after Weather Crisis and before League. Rayquaza would be ignored before League, just like in Emerald and just like Suicune in HG/SS.

Bulbapedia is not absolute. Sometimes it can be useful, but we can't always believe in every word from it. We saw that in case of Dive Ball. Bulbapedia has different information about Dive Ball in it's own different articles. I disagreed with Bulbapedia's current information about games' timeline, because it's just current point of view which can be simply changed after release of R/S remakes.

Sorry for being too harsh in disagreeing with your opinions. I'm like this to your opinions because you negate obvious things like for example Kyurem being a mascot even after being given solid proofs for that. Even after Kyurem was officially confirmed to be a mascot, you were still negating that Kyurem is related to Zekrom and Reshiram, which is obvious thing too. I guess you will reply and negate that again, but I won't try to prove that anymore because I did that enough times.
Just because you now say technically proves you wrong in your own statement. You say that a story line included edit to a game has no reference while a fix to a glitch that has nothing to do with actual gameplay has more weight on what influences the game. Not only do you contradict your own ideal, but show how you only support your opinions and openly deny a fact with an opinion.

Again no, Heart Gold and Soul Silver do NOT focus on Suicune/Eusine. The story does not revolve around them and Suicune's story does not finish until the main story has been completed. The Main story is that of the Original Gold/Silver that ends with either Lugia or Ho-oh. Suicune's plot is made into an after plot that cannot be finished until after the main game finishes.

You have been saying the same about me as your only pure defense against my valid points. You object to proof posted from Bulbapedia, refabricate your own opinion and submit it as a fact while it is an opinion. You disregard any opinion that disagrees with your's. In case you cannot see I am calling you a hypocrite. You point fingers, say that other people are wrong for specific thing that you, yourself are doing in the very discussion.

As for Magma/Aqua I said they were NOT as WELL KNOWN as the other two. Prove to me that they were. Team Rocket was a large scale team that branched two Regions. Well known for being thugs as well as world class criminals. They held an entire Region under their hold.

Mt. Moon: A Detective was investigating their work in the mountain.
Cerulean: The bridge was an open test to abduct/recruit new members.
Cerulean 2: Man stole and harassed a small family and was being searched for by the police.
Lavender: They killed a Pokemon and held Mr. Fuji hostage at the top of the tower.
Saffron: they captured the entire city and held Silph Co. hostage until the owner handed the Master Ball over to Giovanni.
Celadon: they owned the Game Corner, was rumored that they owned the game corner (Yet people went there anyway).
Sevii Islands: After official disbanding, they were still working on their base, stole the Sapphire and you had to defeat them to finish the connection to Hoenn.
    Johto:
    Azela:
They kidnapped the Slowpoke and were cutting off their tails to sell.
Goldenrod: Held the city captive (A second city they managed to control) while broad casting on a large scale of their existence.
Mohogany: Were doing experiments in the lake of rage with sound waves that caused Gyarados to go out of control. Was under formal investigation by the Pokemon League where Lance assisted in taking out the base.

Lorilie and Lance of the E4 both assist in taking down Team Rocket at some point in their involvement.

    Team Galactic:
Jubilife: Harassing Professor Rowan and Opposite Playable character
    Floaroma: Harassed the Honey seller.
Valley Windworks: Kidnapped a professor to have him work on research for an energy source.
Eterna: Holding the Bicycle owner hostage cause of his Clefairy. Cynthia gets involved.
Veilstone: Home base, Galactic steals the professor's assistant's Pokedex. Later they are holding the fairy trio and are being investigated by Interpol "Global Police".
The Lakes: Galactic after blowing up one of the lakes steals the fairy trio despite the attempt to stop them by the main characters and the region's professor.
Iron Island: Riley and player stop Team Galactic that are inside agitating the wild Pokemon.
Spear Pillar: Team Galactic attempts to destroy the world and is stopped by the Player, Cynthia (Champion) and Looker (Interpol).
Battle Zone: Charon attempts to continue his work with Galactic and attacks Stark Mountain to make it erupt if Sinnoh did not pay a ransom.

Compare to Teams Aqua and magma.
Depending on what game you play:
Aqua or Magma are good guys and directly oppose the opposite Faction.

    Harassed Devon Corp. Employee.
    Stole a Submarine
Stole Rocket Fuel (Magma only in Emerald)
    Attempted to cause a Volcano to Erupt (Magma) or tried to kill the Volcano (Aqua) {This was unknown to mass and the very city below the volcano}
Harassed a scientist to assist them in finding a meteorite.
Stole the Orbs to control their respective Legends from Mount Pyre.

Now it says that because of The teams LilyCove wasn't very Popular, yet the Contest Hall was normally full, the Museum makes no mention of having trouble because of them being there, and the Department store doesn't seem effected either. Only purpose the Hotel had was to host the Game Developers Post Game.

Compared to the other two, The two Teams were not as well known. You didn't have any assistance against them and it didn't seem like any police or trainer syndicate was on the look out for their actions. They were mostly under the radar and not as popular.

Compare them to two teams that made World Class villans, they are nothing more than a small robbery of a local store versus a national scale heist of an multinational Bank.
    Two bolded statements.

First No they are Not based on the Third Versions. They follow the story of the Main games. You yourself said that updates and fixes do not mean anything when you ignored the fact that R/S/E were related to FR/LG with Bill updating the PC during the storyline. Its the exact same.

Secondly so you are telling me that HG/SS do NOT follow Gold and Silver's story. That you DO NOT catch Lugia/Ho-oh Before the Elite Four/8th Gym, and that you strictly follow Suicune who is the main focus of the game series?

No. The Remakes are of Gold and Silver with one small add in from Crystal which is the Suicune Chase that isn't Finished until POST Game. HG/SS are not remakes of Crystal, since Crystal had a different story than Gold and Silver they just added that small bit in. Everything else is from the Original Gold and Silver story line with the Kimono Girls adding just a little to the story. Also you do not have to catch all three legendary beast to get the Tin Tower to open to catch Ho-oh. You go to Pewter and get the Rainbow Wing from the old man like in Silver.

You have not stated facts and are just as guilty of blatantly disregarding facts just because they do not meet your opinions.

You are guilty of this too. You completely disregard solid proof because it simply does NOT meet your opinions. Do not go around insulting people when you are guilty of the same thing. That entire conversation was just you ignoring facts and forcing an opinion as fact despite proof given to you.
