what are you using for mapping?

if it is advanced map you open your map, go to tools and then save map picture. it will save the map as a bitmap. Pokecommunity does not support bitmaps but if you open it in paint then you can convert it in to whatereve format you want by using "save as" and selecting the file type from the combo box at the bottom

ok so you want to upload a map well follow these instructions. Go to your user cp, then pictures and albums. Next add a new album and fill in the details. Open the album and upload pictures. click browse and pick the picture you want to upload, if it won't upload it could be the wrong format, now upload it. Open the picture and you will see two boxes under the picture, one will say picture url and the other BB code. Copy the contents of the box under the BB code into tyour post and submit the post.

BB code should look something like this without the *s [*IMG]http://www.pokecommunity.com/picture.php?albumid=2362&pictureid=25287[*/IMG]
and will turn into somting like this
