  • It's been several weeks since your last post again. =< What's going on?
You are correct in what you read. The losing pokemon gains one more level than the winning. This is to help newer trainers catch up. It's also a tidbit of realism.
hey... please don't post so long between....
If you log in next time can you pleease post the next phase of the battle?
They're from someone else. My signature changes everytime you load the page. Haven't you noticed? =o
There is no point to miss.
Also, Swinub has ancient power available as an egg move.
That's an arbitrary game function. Swinub had all the pre-requisites to evolve straight into Mamoswine.
Darkgoalie. |D I need you to come back and start posting again at PTA if you wish to remain a member.
I know right? xD I had to apologize to multiple people for not realizing their character was starting to interact with Valorie. |D I guess causing a scene like she did can have that effect.
Heh, I saw your last post in PTA. What Ralts doesn't know is that there are at least three people that can understand him other than his trainer. XD Brian, my character, Hailey, Chef30's character, and N. XD How funny.
Battles can get interrupted. Things happen. Gotta think outside the box, y'know? The proper way to handle it would've been to just say how Ralts reacted to the attack used and how his trainer reacted to Valorie freaking out and running off, and then I probably would've had Charizard back off in favor of protecting her trainer from a perceived threat.

Regardless, I'm glad to hear it. Let's hope our next battles go a little smoother. c:
...o.O O-Okay. When I said to treat Teleport "like fly" I didn't mean like that. xD I meant more the concept of "Get ready on the first turn, attack on the second."

Basically, the goal there is so that teleport can be used to dodge attacks, but not as easily by making it so that a pokemon can't teleport dodge consecutive attacks. Think of it this way. A pokemon has to focus and prepare to teleport before it can just do it. But yeah.

Also... Y'know what I said about controlling other people's characters including their pokemon? Everytime you do that there's an 80% chance someone's going to get pretty upset. When in an improvised battle like this, you should control your pokemon only. That means you control your pokemon's attacks, how an opponent's pokemon's attack effects your pokemon (Like whether it happens to burn them for instance, but this doesn't apply if there's a guaranteed status effect like in confuse ray for instance.)

In turn, you need to let other people decide how your pokemon's attacks effect their pokemon. If you think someone is being unfair or someone thinks you're being unfair, me and Megaman will be the judge of that, so it's up to you to be fair.

I'm going to let you do it to Charizard for now for the sake of moving on (And because honestly, it didn't bother me very much.) but I'm telling you that in the future that's going to cause real problems regarding the rules. (It's referred to as bunnying here in the Roleplay Corner)

I'm going to go off and post now, and hopefully we won't run into this issue again.
