  • Alright~

    I understand. I do the same when my boyfriend's around. :3 Whatcha gonna be doing for a few weeks? Just hanging out with her a lot?
    I used to do that too but I started jumping in on things as I became more confident. :3
    It's pretty fun when people are talking, but sometimes nobody says anything and it's weird. ^^;
    Haha I don't intentionally put things off.... I just happen to find internet more interesting than the work I'm doing on the computer.

    PC's chat thingamajig.
    I just hang around PC till something happens lol. And then I end up sticking around just in case something else happens and yeah...

    I get stuck in the IRC quite often, that's why I've been avoiding it lately. :>
    Exactly~

    Timezones make things difficult. ;; I find myself staying up till 3am talking to my New Zealand friends and depriving myself of sleep. xD;
    's weird. :/ And I suck at grids and such lol. I don't even know why. Whatever works for you though~

    No worries~ I'm in Minnesota, so US Central time. :3 GMT-6.
    I can see that, but it took some imagination. xD

    What... why could you not copy a pic onto it? I do that all the time. /main method of working

    I could never work well with those for some reason. :/
    Yay resources! \o/

    Thank you~ GIMP has this awesome little thing I noticed at the bottom that tells you how far you've moved an image. So all I have to do is duplicate a layer, move the duplicate over the width/height of the piece, and set it there. :3
    It's still precision work but those little numbers help a ton~
    xD That would be quite epic~

    Mhm~ Anything I use I make myself. With the exception of six icons, three made for me by jigglyppuff8 and three made for me by Tara. :3
    The only semi-difficult bit is getting the edges so they will repeat properly. Like "rawring Charlie" is actually four different images, one in each corner. Such a hassle. @_@ But it looks good~
    They would pretty much have to, I think. xD

    Thank you~ I felt like doing something different so I just collage'd Charlie. xD;
    /agreeing without contributing

    More adventurous than Ten? Surely not! lol yes. The day the Doctor is ginger is the day Doctor Who begins to end. But I suppose they must have to do it at some point, since he keeps going on about it. xD
    It was nice with Pokemon, yeah. But I don't think it was necessary with Doctor Who.

    I've heard about that bit, yeah. xD And it would be nice, though I suppose they would be afraid to do it because it would be too similar to when they did it Sarah Jane/Mickey and Jackie/Harriet Jones. Although! There is a vague promise of Jack at least coming back, so... you know.

    Really? I've heard he was more... evil, I suppose. More like he was the first time Ten met Donna, with that kind of anger and whatnot, killing children without a second thought. But quite a bit ditzier as well. Idk.
    Yeah. I mean, I suppose it's good in its own right, but part of the charm of Doctor Who has always been recurring things, I suppose. I mean... Donna, Cybermen, Daleks, K9, Sarah Jane, all of that... continuity. When's the Doctor's daughter coming back? Captain Jack? Martha?

    I haven't gotten to Journey's End yet, though I basically know what happens. I feel like some characters should come back, even though they may not recognize him. They're... part of the Doctor, whatever form he is in.

    The Tennant era was... amazing. He was incredible and set a huge standard for the Doctor. I hope Smith can live up to that legacy.
    I have been basically told the plot of quite a bit of the Matt Smith era, so i kinda know what's happened... but what got me the most was that it seemed like a total revamp of the series, getting rid of everybody that the Doctor had traveled with so far, regenerating alone, then the Amy Pond stuff... it feels like they were trying to give Matt Smith a fresh start and eradicate the influence of David Tennant. Which is kinda sad because I think lots of people like to see the old characters reappear.
    I haven't seen an episode with Matt Smith at all tbh. Unless you count that one Children in Need special.
    I feel like the songs really had a lot of emotion wrought into them and- even better- totally took me back to the scenes in the show and added another layer to them.
    Indeed. The war would've gone on even more poorly.

    Of course, so in Hitler's mind, he had to strike first. If he lost, if his great fatherland lost to Stalin of all people, his ego would be damaged. He just got crazier after that, not to say that he wasn't already mad. I bet the defeat, or "strategic retreat" as they called it, wrecked whatever chance they had at the negotiations you suggested. However, negotiating with a white supremacist madman could not possibly go well. I doubt he ever had negotiations on his mind. (Keep in mind, even if nazi germany captured Moscow, there's still another half of Russia to capture. And those poor people had just gone from starving to death under a tsar to living under a strict communist government. They've taken a lot of crap, and finally had a government that they "wanted". I have no doubt that Russia would've fought back no matter what, not wanting to be ruled by another country. If Germany had made it that far, the victory wouldn't last. Also, considering the size of Europe and the size of Russia, the Germans would be stretched quite thin.)

    The tank divisions that the nazis sent weren't really made for the conditions in the city, so in the end, it came down to the snipers eliminating virtually all opposition in the building-to-building fighting in Leningrad that I referred to earlier.

    Imagine the devastation if a hydrogen bomb had to be dropped in Europe. I think the allied powers would still win, but everything would've been so much worse. As for the "three way cold war standoff", there's your nuclear WWIII. Never forget that Hitler is a ruthless, crazy dictator. As soon as he were able to directly attack the US, Britain, & USSR, I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to do so.

    I am having an excellent holiday thus far, thanks for asking.
