Seeing that you're a fan of P2S, I'd like to ask, is it available for Singaporeans and the payouts etc, will it just be gift cards or will there be Paypal methods too?
I'm glad you think so as well! I love Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen! And she is quite the looker.
Indeed I am. Whenever I have the free time or the motivation I do some work on it. I was working more actively on it in March. I had a lot of free time that month, and managed pull off some cool things. My deviantArt page is the most up to date out of all the social media I use. So if you're curious you can check that out.
Would I need to buy anything?
    Anything but Unity itself.
I really don't want to spend money, only if I'd need too.
    Hello KC.
I remember a while back you talking about how unity can do 2D games, at a decent level.
And, I'm now wondering, would you be so cool, as to teach me Unity. And how to make 2D games from it?

It's fine if you can't. I can look online for tutorials.
    Not yet.
I plan to actually have something playable before posting a thread, as I think there are too many games nowadays, which are simply attention-*****s, if you know what I mean.
Too many puts lots of energy into visuals and then sort of just give up on the game, after their popularity has gone down.
I want to stick out of the crowd of never-released games, and actually finish mine, hence; no thread yet.
    I most certainly am.
I'm currently making a remake of RBGY/FRLG with my own twists to it, adding the best from the Pokemon Adventures manga and anime, to make the story better.
That link didn't say anything about games. Games need much more optimization than standard applications, since it is updated every frame. I've looked into it a long time ago and most developers don't really use the STL. I've spoken with a guy who works at Sony (he actually makes the compilers) and he was kind enough to show me his engine. Most Console Compilers don't have STL so you can't use it in cross-platform. Even so, everything was done in an extreme way. He even disabled "new" and created his own methods for allocating.
Well another engine is a good thing. Oh and Python looks really easy to use and learn, as a C programer that kinda annoys me...

Lol. I used to use nothing but C++ and C. Python is like development on steroids. I can fix bugs so much quicker, and whatnot. Plus, I've designed my own Python-like object classes in C++, so I can easily write code in C++ that I would write in Python ( save for libraries I would need to "import" ) And of course, emulating classes in C is easy also.
Hi i was wondering when i read this I remember reading something about replacing sprites with 3d models in newer Pokemon games - is that true?. Btw I am new in case you were wondering why some random person posted here :P.
