Hehe. It's the character Abe from Oddworld: Abe's Oddysey (and some sequels). Once a worker in a meat processing factory, he finds out that the bosses want to turn him and his fellow workers into their next "New 'n' Tasty" product, runs away, goes on a spiritual journey to gain the mystical power of blowing up everything on-screen, and returns to free the rest of his friends and shut down the factory.

'Tis a fun set of games. The first sequel (Abe's Exoddus) allows you to spiritually possess, fly and move your own farts, and hilarity ensues.
