That's the only problem, I'm not sure who of the more expert hackers could help.

That actually sounds like a good idea for a hack, I just don't know if I'd be the best person to help. I'm iffy at scripting (in game commands, not dialouge) and only decent at most of the other things. Not bad a spiriting.

It all depends on how well you can script and at times ASM. But, it's not hard to make basic edits like maps and text, but getting burnt out or having idea/writer's blocks can halt progress on hacks. I tend to get inspired again after new games come out. X and Y got me pumped about it again. I've rebooted DarkCopper the hack I've been working on a few times so I can get things more right. But, I have some ideas that are different from regular Pokémon games but also trying to incorporate some post Gen 3 mechanics.

I've played through a lot of GS Remakes, haha! Liquid Crystal, CrystalDust (If you want more a 100% accurate remake type deal) ShinyGold (one of the first remakes and probably isn't even relevant anymore), Pokémon Apollo (You get to play as a Team Rocket Grunt), DarkViolet (awesome re-done version of the Kanto games), a bunch more. But those are some that around now that I've played. I've been working on my own. But, I'm waiting 'til I make decent progress before I release anything.

Yep! Haha, I am, I've been here for a while. Almost as long if not as long as Kanzenshuu. Although I originally joined here 'cause of ROM Hacking more than anything else.
