It can mean attracted to personality the same way straight can. You could be straight, and still be attracted to only personality... but on a female body. In a way, it is physical, because they have to have those parts, but that could be for any reason(reproducde). I believe that sexuality just decides what gender(biological or social id) you are attracted to, yet not what about them attracts you.

Just a tid-bit, but Pansexual does not mean that someone is attracted to personality. It means they are attracted to all sexes, adrodgynous people, choromosomal disorders etcetc.
