    Again, Flying would probably be a great choice. At least with RBY/FRLG, it allows you to choose Charmander and actually use it, since Charizard is Fire/Flying. Also, Dragonite, Aerodactyl, and Gyarados are fair game for a Flying monotype as well.

    Well, if you want as many multi-types as you can, then you'll definitely want to go with Flying, since it's been paired with all 16 other types, and no other type comes close.

    Well, as you've seen, I'm doing Normal, simply because Normal-types generally have the widest movepools, but not always, and their only weakness is fighting. But, it's up to you. I just don't recommend Ghost, Dragon, Ice, Steel, or Dark, due to rarity. However, it's up to you. Are you doing an ultimate run, or just one game, and if so, which game?

    It's alright. If you don't make an update by tonight at midnight EST, which would mark 7 days, you'll just be temporarily removed from the list of challengers until you make another update.

    Third Gen so I don't think.

    Noooope! That wouldn't ruin the chain, because it's still Johto. I do, however, have a Pupitar in the PC I could have bred...also, I had a dream two of my friends died. I would have rather had your dream. :(

    A level 100 Shuckle can potentially deal the most damage in one single attack through the use of numerous stat boosters, by using Helping Hand, Metronome held item, Power Trick, a Skill Swap to Pure Power or Huge Power, 6 Attack boosts, and the Defense Curl/Rollout combo. Also, Shuckle's partner must have the ability Flower Gift and the weather must be sunny. On the 5th impact of Rollout, if used against a level 1 Ledyba or Yanma that have been hit with negative Defense modifiers (such as Screech), it can deal 213,896,052 damage with a critical hit.
