  • With the way you speak, I don't believe you. What bothers me about you is this community is filled with good natured people who actually care about helping others with thier own ROM hacks. You however, only want people to help you with your own ROM hack. Stop taking advantage of good natured people and start helping out. Learn to give a little.
So what you are saying is you decided to post something that was unfinished, just so you can get early feedback on your own stuff? I find that highly disrespectful. The gap between my post and yours was 20 minutes. More than enough time for you to restart your computer and edit the comment again. I personally think you are just lazy and selfish, and now are trying to conver up for yourself. Why don't you either admit to that, or just say sorry; other than making up untrue stories.
    Dear Dismon,

Yeah, it's all very interesting, although I've been getting a little bored with C++, despite the endless possibilities. I've created an application that spells out "I am bored." out of 1's and 0's. I am certainly happy to hear about your new lady! Is she pretty? I imagine that she is. Brunette, too. I hope you have a wonderful time rollerblading. What do you want to work as? Or do you intend for any minimum wage job for the sake of money? I remember when I lived in New London, Connecticut. It was incredibly cold in winter, and unbearably hot in the summer. It has been raining down here as well--it's just been coming out of nowhere.
My classes have been going well. As I've said, C++ has been getting boring. The professor doesn't really get involved. She more or less just hands us the textbook and tells us to work. I also turned in a paper for Ethics. That's the class I've been getting interested in. The professor gets REALLY into the class and challenges us to think differently. It's quite interesting. I also went to see The Great Gatsby and had a happy weekend. I want to know more about your lady friend! Do tell!

    Sincerely,
    Winter
Thank you, thank you! -bows- I feel like we're pen pals 'cause we only talk every few days and it's us updating each other on our lives. So, we're like pen pals.

    Dear Dismon,
My project is coming along great, thanks for asking! I've been taking a new summer course in Ethics, wellness, C++ programming, and philosophy. It's all very interesting. It's getting warmer here in central Florida. What's been going on in your life?
    Hope to hear soon,
    Winter

P.S.: I am now making EVERY VM to you like this.
I did make one stellar building in school that I can show you since I'm not finished with my city quite yet. :P
    Spoiler:
You should see the city I have built so far, and the big temple I built in class. :3

I know it'll be good for me, but I'm not sure I can get into making farmer technology. :P It almost sounds oxymoronic
Well, as every programmer has that dream to work with a gaming company, I eventually hope to work for Jagex or start my own.

And, eh. If you're invested enough in your project, you get through the boring parts of Minecraft.

I even gave up mapping because I'd always want to write a story to go along with it. But, I never posted any of my little projects. But, yes, a rehash of the typical 8 leaders, evil team X going after Legendary Y and you're meant to stop them somehow is always the way it goes.

I think my first job will be from my internship. I'll be designing and developing software meant for agricultural use. It sounds boring as hell, but it gets me experience which is what I need to move up in the world, y'know?
Yeah, I saw them in Orlando. It was pretty rad.

Currently? The two big things on my plate are: getting an internship and building a city in Minecraft.

The internship - I went for an interview Friday(before I left for the concert) to get a paid internship with a software company where I'll be a Jr. Software Dev.

Minecraft - I've been building a city in Minecraft that's kind of inspired by Imperial City in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. So far, I've got the central tower built, I've also built a forest type district to kind of emulate a national park, and I've built a small shopping district with a bank. I'm now working on an Arena area.

I've also been thinking about getting back into ROM hacking, but every time I visit that section, it's essentially the same old ideas being rehashed over and over again. I swear, once you've played one hack, you've pretty much played them all. It's a little depressing. What're you up to?
Eh, it was a local show. But, I did go to an A Day to Remember/Of Mice and Men concert this past Friday.

I'm glad to hear your life's getting better. :P
Well, I reckon you can take solace in knowing she is no longer suffering in our dismal mortal realm. At least, not to our knowledge.
    Did we? Interesting.
That's quite unfortunate. I'm sorry about that. I've never had anyone pass, so I don't know what that feels like.
