  • Hi, nice to meet you, when i read the development about animation title screen, I found your ASM, when I insert it to my ROM hack, the image not animated, do you think there is wrong with my animation table?

    Spoiler:

Great. Will definitely come handy. Regarding the porting, I'll consider doing it once the Emerald rewrite is in a high usable state.

As I have already said, the base is being rewritten to an battle engine upgrade in C. The absorb abilities are working there properly. So once I put up the source here. I'll be definitely looking forward to your bug identifications for the engine upgrade.

I already thought about this while I was working on the base. Now, I don't need to worry about this because of the rewrite in C.
I suppose you can just add the project to eclipse without any references to tonc or anything. You won't be able to do source level debugging or anything fancy but you'll at least have syntax high lighting and things like that.
    About this :

You can find all the directives of as here : ftp://ftp.gnu.org/old-gnu/Manuals/gas/html_chapter/as_7.html

    Sorry for the late reply!
    Yep, works perfectly <3
Btw, i've translated the whole thing to Spanish and posted it in Whack a Hack!
A kinda popular spanish community, giving you the total credits for it :D
    Yeeep!
Wild pokemons have their moves, Starters have their moves, and the Givepokemon is working perfectly too!
Finally! thank you so much dude! <<33333
    None.
Start a new game, do the all Oak's Lab thing, pick Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander, and look at its known moves.
They won't have any, that's the whole problem :/
I don't know how to rephrase that.
    Yes.
Just try it by yourself, start a new game with the ROM i've uploaded before, take your starter and battle your rival.
You'll see how you don't have moves and both pokemons always use Struggle :/
Err.. the moves of the givepokemon aren't the problem, they were working perfectly.
Didn't you noticed that the starters and the wild pokemons only knows struggle? :/ ...
    That's what i want to fix >_< ..
    Wait a second..
He uses the same variables that your routine uses for the Pokemon, Level. Item and first move :/ ..
If i use his custom moves routine, i wouldn't be able to choose the Pokemon, its level or if he has an item, right? :/ ...
Agh.. this is so confusing and hard >__<
Btw, if you want to check by yourself, here's the ROM: Click.
    800000 have your modified routine.
    73A350 have the function
And the NPC outside of viridian's pokecenter have the Givepokemon
Now i'm going to try to overwrite FBI's routine with yours, i really hope it works >_< ..
