well, the pairing system is a fun way for friends and/or couples to let the world know that they're friends and/or dating ^^
In my case, it's purely a friendship thing. We got along well and decided to pair up for fun xD But I heard there's a couple of romantic pairings going around too ^^
Oh and if you've been paired with someone for a whole year, you can request the Commitment Emblem in the Emblems thread. And on birthdays/ Pokecommunity anniversaries & whatnot, a pair can make the person they're paired with a birthday/celebration thread in the Celebrations sections ^^
That's pretty much all there is to it xD You're friends with someone and want everybody to know? Talk to them and add your names on the Pairings thread xD
Oh yeah o.o and I think you can only pair 1 person per month o.o And the number of pairs someone can have is pretty much unlimited I think o.o
